If that's your engine bay in your avatar, I'd say you have a fair job ahead of you.

yeah thats my engine bay in my avatar..

does anyone know how i can get a wheel off without the locknut key.. i never recieved one with the car and before i could go get them taken off i got a flate tyre!

freeze it and chisel it off...... get a socket bit and whack it in until it gets into shape...

I was under the impression that changes like that affect emissions, and any emissions change means big issues as you would then be up for emissions testing. Some can correct me if I am wrong. Perhaps ring regency technical enquiry line and ask what are the laws about changing plenum?

yeah id say thats about right.

im not sure on the full laws of it though.

is it just an aftermarket plenum with stock runners and forward facing tb?

or is it all aftermarket? cant really tell from your avatar.

Why is it that most ppl with skylines are getting defected and they pull me over and say nothing about a defect.. Got pulled over last night, all he did was shine the torch at my tyres, which are almost brand new, and yeah, let me go.. Guess owning an import your bound to get defected sometime...

P.s. I agree, dont drive anywhere near the bay on friday and saturday nights..

thnx for the help guys concerning the wheels nut. i smahed the crap out of it with a hammer and a 18mm socket abd\\nd as we speak my tyre should be getting fixed...

wat sort of issues would i b facing with my plennum.?

there was easier ways then those 2 but if it works it works :D

also, from the picture youll have to put the standard heat sheild back on over the turbo if it not on there. if you dont have any of these parts just take it through as is and get your list. much eaiser then pissfarting around trying to find bits that they might not even do you for.

to reduce getting done for the plenum, would it be worth going and getting the turbo tuned right down along with the fuel ratio/mixture or wat eva u get done lol...

as for weather its got stock runners and wat not i wouldn have a clue sorry.

Its a HKS Turbo..

This HKS turbo replaces the stocky in standard position and is internally gated.

The plazmaman plenum pictured uses the stock runners.

Note also the plumb-back BOV, which is legal.

None of this really matters, what matters is:

1) suspension allows underside to be at least 100mm from ground

2) noise at 3000rpm

3) emissions reading from exhaust

I havent been online for a while so I'm probably too late.

The TEIN suspension is fully adjustable and you should be able to adjust the ride high to meet legal requirements. That said, the only thing that was illegal was the exhaust being too loud, just needed a resonator or or something to take the drone out.

You cant get a defect for a fmic but most times to fit them you have to cut your frount reo bar and thats a defect but if the cop said nothing about the reo bar then just lay a complant and plz dont be scard of cops they are just lil kids in blue

      Hey all  im wondering if you can help me please I have put a rb20 box in my r34 gtt as my auto packed up and a friend had a spare box I know it’s not ideal but it will get me up and running for now. we have done the conversation and everything is working great but my Speedo we got a s13 speed sensor but my Speedo reads double now and I bought a speed converter but still not having any luck.  so I thought I’ll reach out and pick your brains  any help would be appreciated please as I wanna drive my car again

      Drain it. I got official Matic D but you can get whatever is listed as Matic D compatible.

      Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻

      Nice car! I’m glad folks in the US have gotten past the FnF and are buying real cool cars like the 260RS I was with a bunch of mates in Portland about a year ago and spotted a green Stagea (just a regular 2.5T AWD) parked about 2 blocks away and they were like “a what?” So I made a bet with them for a round of beers and said “ok one of you run down there and tell me if the steering wheel is on the correct side” 5 mins later the American comes trudging back up the hill and goes “he’s right guys. Ok what beer do you want?”
