Location: Wagga Wagga NSW, but its a car, and I can drive it to a serious buyer..

NSW rego until July 2008..

AQ-24-WN.

Offers around $15900.

I bought this last year after looking for ages for the right car. Its my friends bosses wife's old car. (yeah I know - its a funny story.)... Since I've owned it its basically done highway kilometers. I don't even drive it to work! Its been garaged its whole life.

I've had it serviced every 5000 kms or so with Penrite oils, my mechanic knows to "spare no expense" and its been very well looked after. 100,000kms service has been completed (I have all the reciepts - there is a lot of them)..

I've had everything slighty wrong with it replaed or fixed, including all the dash lights (common issue with these I'm told..). Also had a new radiator fitted after the end tank started to leak (its a later model radiator with twin gearbox oil coolers - both working). I've had the whole stereo replaced with an Ipod compatable Alpine system with speakers fitted.

Its got a full exhaust system (from the motor back) with 4 into 1 headers, hiflow cats and a full twin 2 1/2 inch system to the back. Its not too loud or but certainly sounds like a v8. Its also had DBA slotted rotors fitted in the past 6 months along with bendix pads - to all four corners. It also got tinted windows which are legal, but dark.

Its got new rubber on the back, and near new front, and certainley does not need any work.

Its got a few door opening type dents - nothng you wouldn't expect, and a few stone chips. Its got rego until July, and if required I can get a roadworthy completed.

So, if you are after a good, solid, well maintained example of Holdens finest - (I know its not a Skyline), this is the one for you. I'll negotiate on price. Only selling as I want to upgrade into another Skyline. ;)

Get some pics up later tonight - just want to take some current ones..

Slab to anyone who directly helps the sale - you know the rules :w00t:

Anthony ;)

So other than it being a holden and a V8 we dont know anything about what type of car it is?

Or what year?

    • Yeah in that case, pulling the dent out. Event a very slight dent can create a lot of work filler-wise and there is a strong chance the panel won't be the factory shape when you are done (as the dent will result in a new high point created somewhere, then everything is brought up to that new high point... but the panel shouldn't be that high if that makes sense).  So you've filled and primed the panel and it is flat, why would you go back and remove the primer and add more filler?
    • Something else I have been faffing with while the car was off the road is making the AC work. Assuming the car isn't at a thermal limit the idea of having AC while waiting in line to go on track sounds delightful. I have actually been lugging around the weight of the entire system since 2018 when the RB25NEO went in without it working at all.  The main reason was in the first few events before I got around to re-gassing it the rubber hose that runs under the manifold had the factory heat wrap/sleeve fail resulting in this: ~2 years ago I purchased a complete used R32 AC line set but when I finally went to install it the line i needed was different where the expansion section is I found a local place that was able to replace the rubber section and re-crimp. They also added some modern heat sleeve to the hose Tight fit but fingers crossed this is the last physical piece of the puzzle needed
    • the top black section is bonded to the silver section with some form of rubber. I assume to isolated NVH from the box
    • Plan B? Get someone to machine up a metal bush/collar/whatever it needs to be to replace the rubber? I haven't had a close look at that part recently to have a proper feel for whether that's possible. But it might be easy.
    • I do not want to install a short shifter and the only other stock throw shifter I have seen is the Nismo "Rigid shifter" for $290 So plan A is to fill it with sikaflex to stiffen it up and hope for the best
