well dont tell me u both havnt gone over the speed limit, driving a gtr u gta feel da power every now and than no point driving like a lil girl, lets be realistic here not all of us have spare time to spend a day at the tracks, doing 260 down pt wakefield once in awhile is alright... lol and as too spelling and grammer.. cmon now its the internet.. har har? ^_^

Hey dude yeah i think all of us cannot say we have never sped in our lines but the track is the place to do it as on the flip side youll have alot of spare time when you cant drive anywhere :nyaanyaa:

atleast at the track you dont have to worry about the other the sphincter of the universes on the road and can push the limits as much as you wish!

I agree with what ryanrb25 is saying too.

Everyones done it, just as long as its in an area that is relatively responsible (eg freeway) and not in side streets then its not THAT bad.

My 2c.

Haha say THAT to the police that pulls you over!

Caught driving whilst suspended is pretty much an instant jail term in vic (1 month?), caught driving with a cancelled license is just a $550 fine

Try and confuse the copper into giving you the second one...

Also wont go on your record so judge wont know when you reapply for it (just an infringement)

LOL @ the anger expressed by some people.

Come on, it's his decisions and he made a bad one, he got the punishment, the end.

It was Port Wakefield road, its straight, its big, and at the right time of the day pretty much empty.

It's not like it was south road in a 60/80 zone with heaps of intersections, side streets, shops people traffic etc.

Jack

Excuse it up....Goose

Yeah everyone has given it the odd squirt, but 260 aint a squirt.

Who cares where he was, when ect..keep doing that kind of crap and see where it gets you.

I could go into a million reasons not to....but in the spirit of the Darwin awards I encourage you to continue.

After all in the end you'll be doing mankind a favour.

Goose/the sphincter of the universe pick any odd bird you like. gtr...weeeee...gtr

Still reckon you should of went for 300km/h... might of got you a few seconds of fame on the afternoon news! Something along the lines of... "19 year old P plater driving high performance nissan skyline clocked at 300km/h!".... or or... "P plater hoons down Port River Expressway rolled multiple times before coming to a stop on it's roof down by the swamp" orrrrrrr "Horrible multi car crash down Port River Expressway involving teenage p plater hooning in high performance nissan skyline"

well from 2 years suspended license down to 6 months for doing 260 in 110 zone... and a 2200 dollar fine down to 800 is preety good im happy with it. they also wanted to sieze my car.. but that got withdrawn..

hey Kietz........trust me, you got a soft magistrate, doubt it if the lawyer had much to do with the reductions, you could have got reductions yourself with that particular judge by the sounds of him.

What did the lawyer cost you or your mum and will you pay the $800 or your mum?

If anyone on this forum still can't understand why our licencing laws are getting stricter or fines, defects and as some would call it

harrassment are getting worse.

Heres your shining example why.....not only by his actions but attitude, the only sad thing in this story of idiocrascy is he's not alone.

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
