hey champ was wondering if u would be interested in selling the carbon fibre bonnet separately from the shell??? and if so how much and would u ship to sydney...... i would organise and pay for the shipping of course

I can't imagine an R32 conversion being much different to putting it into an R33.

I don't know how much modifying goes into the loome of an RB25(r33) when they bolt them into an R32...

it would be the same on the neo, because it plugs straight into my R33..

As for the rest, bolt your RB20 engine mounts onto the engine, your gearbox, probably your accessories and your away.

to ensure your belts all matched you could probably use an RB20 harmonic balancer if you really wanted.

kk u willing 2 post 2 brisbane? ill have a chat 2 the bank n the mechanic early next week.

Yeah sorry mate, been zonked out with the Flu.. feel like I'm dead...

I had a mate offer me $2600 for the car/shell yesterday, but i told him i have it waiting for you in good faith.

but i'll level it with ya, i have just brought a house & have bub here at the end of May, so in realityi need the $$. I don't expect you to match his offer. And i appologise for the inconvenience & f**k around this may have resulted in for you. But i will be letting him have it at that price.

Yours if you still want it, but as i say, In need of the money as much as anything else. I hate to be an arsehole to you, but, hey money is money...

Webber,

As per my PM, contact me ASAP regarding the terms of our sale agreement.

I am out of pocket $1700.00 if you reneg on this deal and if you do I will be chasing reimbursement.

Regards,

Johno

EDIT: Its funny how you have removed and edited most of your threads.. are you worried about something? or perhaps someone finding you contact details?

Look it is not forsale anymore..

It is quite clear, There was no deposit paid or recieved

There was no contract of sale signed

What is your Issue?

I changed my mind, I am sorry for your inconvenience.

As for the selling to a mate, i am actually hanging onto this myself.

yes i deleted some posts, but thats because this is bullshit, that i don't need in my life ATM...

Nathan, a deposit was not paid because you never gave me your details. I repeatly asked for them as well as other details.

My issue is I invested almost 2k into getting this shell. Arranged to have time off work to pick it up and bought a freakin tow car to pick it up. Then you try this Bullshit with me.

Anyway this is not the place for this. I hope you treat other potential buyers better then this. Making them wait 2 months, lying, then trying to extract more money off them when its time to pick up the goods.

Johno

    • My guesstimate, with no real numbers to back it up, is it won't effect it greatly at all.its not a huge change in position, and I can't see the air flow changing from in turbulence that much based on distance, and what's in front of it. Johnny and Brad may have some more numbers to share from experience though.
    • Which solenoid? Why was it changed? Again, why was this done? ...well, these wear..but ultimately, why was it changed? Did you reset the idle voltage level after fitment? I'm just a tad confused ~ the flash code doesn't allude to these items being faulty, so in my mind the only reason to change these things, would be some drive-ability issue....and if that's the case, what was the problem? Those questions aside, check if the dropping resistor is OK ...should be 11~14 ohms (TCU doesn't throw a flash code for this) ~ also, these TCU designs have full time power (to keep fault code RAM alive), and I think that'll throw a logic code (as opposed to the 10 hardware codes), if that power is missing (or the ram has gone bad in the TCU, which you can check..but that's another story here perhaps).
    • Question for people who "know stuff" I am looking at doing the new intake like the one in the picture (the pictured is designed for the OEM TB and intake plenum), this design has the filter behind the front bar, but, the filter sits where the OEM duct heads into the front bar, and the standard aperture when the OEM ducting is removed allows the filter to pulled back out of the front bar into the engine bay for servicing, a simple blanking plate is used to seal the aperture behind the filter This will require a 45° silicone hose from the TB, like the alloy pipe that is currently there, to another 45° silicone hose to get a straight run to the aperture in the front bar Question: how will it effect the tune if I move the MAF about 100-150mm forward, the red is around where my MAF is currently, and the green would be where it would end up Like this This is the hole the filter goes through  Ends up like this LOL..Cheers
    • Despite the level up question, actually I do know what that is....it is a pressure sender wire.  So check out around the oil filter for an oil pressure sender, or maybe fuel pressure near the filter or on the engine. Possibly but less likely coolant pressure sensor because they tend to be combined temp/pressure senders if you have one. Could also be brake pressure (in a brake line somewhere pre ABS) but maybe I'm the only one that has that on a skyline.
    • Pull codes via the self-diagnosis procedure. As far as I can tell this is just a sign of transmission issues but not a code unto itself.
