Where to take boost measurement from?

Guys i'm looking at installing a boost gauge, but from what I've

read there are numerous places to get the readings. Where is

it the most accurate? Anyone have any pics for a 33??

I've searched but can't find anything.

Well it depends on what boost you want to see I suppose. I've seen them in all sorts of spots e.g. Before the intercooler and after. So you can see what sort of boost the turbo sees or other parts.

I've taken mine from the hose off the plenum that feeds the electrical boost sensor for the indash gauge.

I've heard that the indash one ain't all that accurate? Because

of where it's been plumbed into?

dont know exactly the name... but i was told the best place was to tap it into the ??inlet manifold?? (something like that) which is after the intercooler... this they say is the best place to messure the after intercooler pressure.

Usually anywhere after the throttle is fine, then it will measure vacuum aswell as inlet pressure.

The factory gauge may not be accurate but it has nothing to do with where it gets it's reading as anywhere off the plenum will give you the correct psi that the engine is feeding off.
