Hey

Names adam

Wanting to get an import since i was about 10, And always wanted something like a skyline, But after seeing lately that everyone seems to want the same these days, and how i have to be different, Focus turned more towards the 300zx, then seen alot of people have them, untill i seen the 50th aniversary z31. have had one for a few years but never got time to work on the "project" so after rebuilding the engine and respraying the bay, thats where it sat. for about 2 years. Till just recently when i got my licence and uncovered the beast, realising that it was past due, (rusted body) It is fixable but i have dug around and found a donor car, now the only problem is getting the parentals convinced and get the father down to rocky with me to look at the beast... the donor car has all the same features i want, Except both cars are auto..... But i need a new hatch,

Other then that

    • Despite the level up question, actually I do know what that is....it is a pressure sender wire.  So check out around the oil filter for an oil pressure sender, or maybe fuel pressure near the filter or on the engine. Possibly but less likely coolant pressure sensor because they tend to be combined temp/pressure senders if you have one. Could also be brake pressure (in a brake line somewhere pre ABS) but maybe I'm the only one that has that on a skyline.
    • Pull codes via the self-diagnosis procedure. As far as I can tell this is just a sign of transmission issues but not a code unto itself.
    • Hi All, putting the engine back together and everything is perfect except have this plug left over.. any ideas what it is for and where it goes? Is on cold side under the intake plenum *note not a stock plug, as everything has been modified Cheers
    • Sounds like a misfire. Check fuel pressure and don't even think about going into boost while it's like this unless you enjoy engine rebuilds.
