Ut3 Online Problems

I picked up UT3 yesterday and love the game but for some reason im having problems connecting to games to play. Ive tried filtering different types of matches but more often then not I get the connection lost with server error. I eventually do connect to a game but its more of a hit and miss on if it will connect or not.

I have no other problems connecting online with any other game such as warhawk, COD4, Team Fortress 2 etc so I was wondering do anyone else who has it have the same problems?

I have read some forums and apparently the game released in the USA required a patch to fix some online issues but there version was released ages ago and you would think that with the aussie version it would of been included since we got the game 2 months later.
