Hey guys,

Fitted my Walbro fuel pump today, and it was a piece of piss... very easily done.

Still yet to get it back on the dyno to see if this fixed my lean issue.. cant wait, as gettin my SAFC tuned

at same time. CnJ boyz are doing it.

Well just a quick question bout the direct grounding. What i did was cut the grey whitish wire and ground it direct to the rear boot battery grounding point.

Is that ok ? and safe ? will my fuel pump die or anything ? It noticebly louder wen its priming before starting the engine. and the Votage jumped from 9-10v to 14v.

But just askin is it safe for the pump, lots of ppl say it is and some say it aint. Can some one clear this up for meeh.

AFAIK The fuel pump control module switches a soft earth to the pump at idle, so the pump doesnt run hard when it doesnt need to. It then switches a full earth to give the full 14volts when required. So running 14 volts shouldn't be a problem, but the earth you've wired shouldnt be necessery. I'm guessing Nissan included the control module to reduce noise and perhaps reduce heating the fuel a little. I have a sard and its not any noisier than stock.
