Only owned for 5 months. Personal Import through J-Spec. Amazing condition inside and out. Has had 2 full dyno-tunes, before and after a fuss-free trip to Melbourne for Xmas, at Dyson Rotary at Labrador. Running 12 psi made 297rwhp (219kW) but have since backed it back to 255hp for wife to drive. Tuner says with SAFC2 ($250ish) would be able to advance timing and add fuel to make easily over 300rwhp reliably. Even he was surprised at power of car. Uses fully synthetic oil, had new plugs and filters (air and oil) fitted this week, 2 new tyres yesterday and is very well looked after.

There are so many features on this car and I have been made many separate offers for the brakes, the diff, the front seats, the roof rail covers, the wheels, and the coilovers.

The car is being advertised for a short period of time as we have been struggling with what to do about the suspension. Because we live on a bumpy country roads and a steep driveway, my wife is tired of the Teins and the height of the car. We have looked at plenty of options with suspension swaps and Bilsteins etc, but decided to advertise the car in the short term to see if there was any interest before swapping out the Teins. If we lived in Brissie still we would not be having this discussion, but for me, it seems like a car set up this well should have the suspension to go with it!!! This car is as quick at my 2 Skylines that I previously owned and handles much better. It stops unbelievably, wags it's tail so predictably and securely, is quiet, comfy and nimble. My wife loves it but can't drive locally any longer on these roads...

Make a very close offer and it may be yours. Went on the last SEQld Cruise and I know there are a few guys who could explain how clean it is! Sure you can import a stocky now for $13K but then add $2-3K for alarm, insurance rego, tyres etc and tuning. What do you think the brakes, diff, seats, coilovers, electrics etc would set you back? $7-10K?

Call to view. Will travel a little north to show car to genuinely interested people from Brisbane.

Not parting out. No trades considered.

Am ready to put Apexi SAFC2 on it now, so price unlikely to drop significantly!

Come and drive it and you will see ... a true Skyline RWD Wagon (with drift diff!)

3Bump...

Some interested parties. Not ideal for us atm but swaps may be considered!

Here's a pic of the back with the Dolphin rear light eyelids!

PM's replied to...

SAFC2 going on next week! More timing, safe fuel and even better tune!

Will sell for cheaper without Impul Recaro front chairs or diff or wheels!

GTT performance, better handling, more features, ideal family turbo car!

Going on carsales soon... (after SAFC2!)

SAFC2 bought. To be installed soon! 300rwhp on the way I'd guess...

Compare features with any of other S2's on SAU right now. Power/Handling/Kit/km's/Driftable

    • So I'll put filler past the repair area a bit to make sure I don't miss anything. Then I'll block it until it's almost level, put the guidecoat, then keep blocking until it's gone. Then it's still wavy.  In regards to hitting the panel, I saw this video might give more context - Skip to 0:47 he knocks it down. But yeah I'm sanding until the guidecoat is gone then checking because otherwise my filler is still well above the bodyline. Unless what you're saying is I should put guidecoat around it early, surrounding the filler then stip once it's gone?
    • I refreshed the OEM injectors with the kit and connected it up. It now ideals okay even with the IACV removed. Driving still has the same cutoff issue like the 550cc injectors so the issue is somewhere else. I bought FPG's Fuel Pump Hanger. I will be installing it next, but it is not as straightforward as I thought it was with my limited wiring knowledge and no instruction on the specific model I purchased (FPG-089). I also got the incorrect billet clamp as I could not find info on the OEM sizing.
    • Stop looking at the garage floor, and turn the radio up a bit louder if there's any strange noises...
    • No. Turbo shuffle and surge/flutter are not the same thing. Specifically, on a GTR, turbo shuffle has a definite meaning. On a GTR, the twin turbos are assumed to be the same thing and to operate the same way, exactly. In reality, they do not. Their exhaust sides are fed and exhaust a little differently, to each other. Their inlet sides are fed and exhausted a little differently, to each other. Consequently, when they are "working" they are often at slightly different points on the compressor map compared to each other. What this means, particularly when coming on boost, is that one of them will spool up and start producing extra flow compared to the other, which will put back pressure on that other compressor, which will push the operating point on that other compressor up (vertically). This will generally result in it bumping up against the surge line on the map, but even if it doesn't, it upsets the compressor and you get this surging shuffle back and forth between them That is "turbo shuffle" on a GTR. It is related to other flutter effects heard on other turbo systems, but it is a particular feature of the somewhat crappy outlet piping arrangement on RB26s. There are plenty of mods that have been attempted with varying levels of success. People have ground out and/or welded more material into the twin turbo pipe to try to prevent it. Extending the divider inside it works, removing material doesn't. There are aftermarket replacement twin turbo pipes available, and these exist pretty mush purely because of this shuffle problem.
    • You can temporarily* use lock collars to keep it in place until you can do the bushes, back the nuts off, slide them in, snug back up. *temporarily is often for ever
