R33 Gtr Ps Pump In To R32gtr

hey guys i just finished putting my r33 rb26 in to an r32 gtr and noticed the PS pumps are different

the r33 has 1 hose that bolts to the pump but the r32 has 2,

how can i over come this???

Isn't the second line on the r32 pump for hicas?

can you just use the r32 power steering pump (need to use the r32 harmonic balancer as well because the number of ridges for belt are different). Or if hicas is gone just use the r33 pump

iv already removed the hicas and all the lines, but i bought the car with out a motor so i dont have an r32 pump

if you dont have hicas you dont need the 2 stage pump. just use the r33 one.

ok what i have done is followed the instruction on the hicas thread on removing everything, so iv joined the lines ect..

but im not sure what hose to cut off??

OK If all you've done is loop the lines down near the gearbox there is a whole heap of stuff in the engine bay you can remove. I hope your motors not back in yet, it could be very difficult if so....

you need to follow the rear stage of the pump around and remove everything you find including the solenoids near the oil filter. one of the outlets from the resoviour gets blocked off too. that will leave you with only power steering in the engine bay.
