Thinking of getting at least my rear brake pads done before texikhana. Mechanic said he'd used QFM pads, from what I've seen online they aren't bad, anyone here used them? He didn't like bendix ultimates as he said they tend to squeal. Which I've had meself.

Wanted to charge around 250 a pair to have them done, ie discs machined, new pads put on. Is that reasonable?

I just put the k500 on my car a week ago, they are really good cold, no squel, no dust. I will tell you what they are like on the track after texikhana (I wont be able to tell if they are good for heaps of flatout laps til I take it out to wakefield)

Only heard good things from the racing guys

250 is pretty reasonable

+ against bendix ultimates
