It did look fair tough in real life, but white was always the plan so I painted it up and cleared it today, so now the wing and lip are ready to go, but I reckon I'll hold off on mounting them properly until I at least get some rims.

One more pic just before I took it off.

Maybe. 2 of the blokes at Adelaide Tyrepower had matching 4 doors, this was one. It did look fking tough with the Weds meshies it was sporting back in the day. Doesn't look so crash hot now though :(

Not gonna bother fixing it either, just gonna track it and thrash the crap out of it :) It has a fair bit of rust that was hidden before, so it's no great loss of a shell really.

Well I pulled the back out a little bit today with the aid of a tow rope + the cressida (ghetto style is how I roll). I can fit a tail light in there now and can almost fit the bumper back up so thats forward progress I spose.

And I also got bored so decided to chuck the lip on all painted. I reckon it looks aight (save for the fact it desperately needs wheels)

WOO WOO exhaust is fixed with a Blitz Nur Spec :D :D with the silencer in, it's fkn quiet as a mouse. No more waking the neighbours when I get home from work at like 3 - 4 in the morning :P:)

Reo is a wee bit closer to being aligned too, little more bashing to be done

tail lights sourced - minty fresh series 2 items for $65 each thank you very much :ban:

Also grabbed some alloy cradle lock spacers and steering lock spacers. Solid cradle and more lock shall be FTW when I get around to fitting them :O

Will take a heat gun to the bar later on and see if I can get it back to normal shape (or close enough to)

Getting there :P

Series 2 look ever so slightly different, in that they have reflectors in the middle of the hotplate bits and a horizontal crease line that lines up with the bottom of the boot/top of rear bar. I reckon they look a little nicer then the earlier tail lights.

I forgot to mention before, my SSRs rocked up too :O 16 x 8 +20. Fitted on the front with a 20mm spacer to clear the brakes should look pretty tough, but I'll do that when the 16 x 9 +16s I just bought arrive. Until then they are rears (will use aformentioned 20 mm spacer on the front with my 16 x 8 +38 Watanabes)

I've also come across some Fabulous (brand) rims available in 16inch with widths up to 10j and offsets that go right down to -31 :ban:

If the 9j I've just bought fit well on the front, I'll go 10j +12 on the rear

Just wondering, why did you sell your jzx100?

Because I am a f**king idiot :domokun:

No seriously, get one. Nothing will seem as good any more (hence why I have absolutely no problem throwing the 32 into a cliff, it's only skyline junk to me)

I'd get another one but I'm trying to slow down spending on cars (modding them is pretty exxy).

    • This. The R34 handbrake icon DOES come up when the brake fluid level is low. You might be sitting right on that threshhold. I have been down this diagnosis path and this was the solution (and it was pretty much as full as your picture is to begin with).
    • Unfortunately the cavaet to that is that while any scan tool should be able to read the code, the workshop will need a consult plug to OBD socket adapter. You don't have a location on your profile, where are you based?
    • @Haggerty this is your red flag. In MAP based ECU's the Manifold pressure X RPM calculation is how the engine knows it is actually...running/going through ANY load. You are confusing the term 'base map' with your base VE/Fuel table. When most people say 'base map' they mean the stock entire tune shipped with the ECU, hopefully aimed at a specific car/setup to use as a base for beginning to tune your specific car. Haltech has a lot of documentation (or at least they used to, I expect it to be better now). Read it voraciously.
    • I saw you mention this earlier and it raised a red flag, but I couldn't believe it was real. Yes, the vacuum signal should vary. It is the one and only load signal from the engine to the ECU, and it MUST vary. It is either not connected or is badly f**ked up in some way.
    • @Haggerty you still haven't answered my question.  Many things you are saying do not make sense for someone who can tune, yet I would not expect someone who cannot tune to be playing with the things in the ECU that you are.  This process would be a lot quicker to figure out if we can remove user error from the equation.
