UPDATE:

Ok so the boys at kamakaze have finished with my car done compliance and RWC needed only a couple of bushes for RWC waiting for compliance plate to come from DOTARS which should be tuesday wednesday the latest then off to vicroads i go the wait has been killing me.

Ok so here is what it has cost me for anyone thinking of doind the same thing

$8600 FOB-car itself from japan

$4200 approx for shipping, quarantine and all duties

$4020 for compliance, transport RWC and Fix things for RWC.

$200 in phone calls to find out the latest LOL(jokes)

$960 Vicroads registered and brand new plates YAY :)

Total $17780

I am using the jap tyres that came with it as they were near new Nankangs give you full details when im looking at it my driveway as well as a crap load of photo's.

For anyone else embarking on their first import journey take my advice if your impatient like me buy local as no amount of phone calls to quarantine the agents or compliancers will get your to you any faster. :D

Close to 18k, that's just too cheap Andy! :P (compared to what I payed for mine anyway).

Regardless, great buy buddy, and I can't wait for you to get it so I can steal your kit :)

At least let me drive it once b4 you steal the kit off it :D

Still waiting on cherry33 for an answer on the kits

    • Unsolicited advice? Keep the engine as close to stock as you can. Nothing wrong with adding some boost and making a little more power, but given where you are, you really don't want to try to make it into a monster. I can't imagine the roads are up to it, and the lack of locla support when it grenades will be a ball ache. FWIW, If there is a dyno around that you can access, then brand new injectors are a good idea, which will lead you to (at least) putting a Nistune in it, which will allow you to put an R35 AFM on it, all of which will make it possible to make it much much nicer to drive and live with.
    • List all of your mods. It sounds like an aftermarket ECU hitting rev limiter. Like a valet mode, or a cold rpm limiter?
    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...
