Aircon Problems!

ok i just replaced all belts! every time i go to turn on the aircon it sounds like an opera singer shreeking at the top of her lungs, it also does the same thing when turn on the car for like the first 30 seconds then goes away. i found that if i pump the clutch the sound becomes louder. i cant see the mechanic that put the new belts in simple coz i moved 2000km away...haha

it could just be the belts dont have a lubricated surface so they squeal

supercheap auto have a green spray can and you spray it on the belts and it will lube them to stop the squeal

thats all i can think it being =\ worth spraying them i guess

A common problem would be that the belts aren't tightened up enough or are overtightened. Check to see how tight the belt is in the morning before you drive (usually squeaks most in the morning).
