Hi Japanophiles,

I had to post in this section because you're the best chance.

I am actually addicted to the 'seaweed' pack from the Japanese sushi shop around the corner. I asked the girls from the shop and they jut call it seaweed (they are Asian but I don't believe Japanese).

It's brightly coloured, green and gelatinous, and has a what tastes like a vingerete finish, sometimes has chopped (finely) chilli on top.

It has a similar appearence to noodles.. albeit green.

What is it called and more importantly where can I but it from (Jap store from the central markets or something) I would love to make it myself so I am on the hunt?

Cheers
