been there ...done that...Married now and paying a house off...Yes it isnt easy...it takes time. For the single people its understandable. But my post is more directed toward the couples who are renting and complaining. Both couples work but are just digging themselves further into debt because of the " I must have the best of everything " mentality...

Yeh my sister and her husband (my best mate) are exactly that! They are $230,000 in dept (owe the bank this for their car and house) they owe me, my other sister and my mum another $10,000 put together and they go out for cruises every weekend, go to the movies twice a week, have the latest nokia phones and then they complain cos they have no money. Havnt even thought about paying any of us 3 back the money the owe. Piss's me off! Anyways, if ya dnt like the prices, take public transport, costs me $13.50 a week. If i was driving i would suck it up and pay that much for it, i love my car and would pay anything to go driving in it. 2.00 by the end of the year, think about what its going to get to in future years, save ur complaining for when it hits 5.00 in 2 years! Also, i wish they'd stop designing cars to run on water, air and other cheaper shit, design sumthing that can fit in cars around today, would probly be cheaper designing sumthing smaller surely. Anyways thats my 2c

Im surprised inflation hasn't affected the price of your opinion :)

Im surprised inflation hasn't affected the price of your opinion :P

I had alot to say on the subject, what can i say. My opinion isnt worth much these days, although it never really was worth much. But yeh, petty prices suck what ever way ya look at it.

hey anna....

ive read around that turbo's run better km's per tank than N/a's? but i donno..

i changed my afm and i started getting 30-40 extra km's per tank...

im pretty sure a good tune will help also.

good point steve, i dont know why i said that...lol

hey hey!

yeah we're looking into it... everyone we've talked to said his car shouldn't be eating up that much fuel.. the 33 has no boost controller.. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it..

I do alright on fuel... I normally fuel up on Mondays or Tuesday depending on what I'm doing.. it's about 10cents difference (depending where you live of course).. but every cent counts.. on avg we pay about 1.65 for v-power... or bp ultimate at 1.55... which is pretty cheap compared to other prices I've seen..

NB .. this is anna btw I'm using Brenton's cause I can't be bothered signing out and then signing into my one.. :P

yeah i had this same prob with my family bout 7k ova a year, lesson well learned they never got a cent outa me after that. after a year of calling me this n that when i refused to give in they finally stopped asking. so now im a happy boy  on the plus side i may have settled for a gts instead of holding out for what i truly wanted being my gtr when i had all that cash lying around.

some people need a slap in the head my bro cranks out the visa card like tommorrow isnt coming and when i try n explain the interest part he dont wanna hear it but then bitches that he never has enough money. im an accountant i think its a good idea he listen. common rule never do buisness or lend major cash to family n friends. its a huge reason for family splits and life long friendships ending

... anyways back on the petrol

what sh*ts me is the news cranking a story ensures the price will rise because people prepare to pay it and are more willing to accept the crap price. if the news didnt run the story i reckon it would be less likely to rise although nothing can really stop in the end.

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
