k3vv
Guys! I've decided to spend 2k on my skyline... here is what I have... RB25DET Stock turbo, stock intercooler Coilovers and 17" rims standard series 1 bodykit 4" exhaust with blitz nur spec muffler boost controller air pod normal ICE with a small enough subwoofer to provide decent 'doof doof'. Any ideas on what I can do with the cash? DIY vs shops? I am not mechanically sound but simple electricals I can handle with some instructions... siddr20
What do you want out of your car? perhaps a tune would be nicely suited with your current mods. If you are in sydney, you can get a remap done for little as $400. Why not get a r34 cooler, or fmic? thats about 500.. thats 1k gone.. With the other 1k, do more suspension mods? Castor rods, tie rod ends, sway bars etc.. But the next step in more power will be costly!! That is if you wanna go bigger turbo etc. You will need a budget of 5k for that. Perhaps with the 2k, invest it into insurance Edited June 9, 2008 by siddr20 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/223117-2gs-to-spend/#findComment-3930622 Share on other sites

typevu
$2k... just the Power FC and a tune - might have a couple hundred left over depends how much you paid for the Power FC and how much the tune cost at wherever you get it tuned. k3vv
HEy guys Thanks for the tips.... I might end up getting a e-manage /safc, tune and prolly spend the rest on replacing my crappy s1 rear spoiler to a s2. I suppose the 2gs is to get me started on the mods. Prolly the next step is to upgrade the turbo and intercooler system. Then again, its an everyday car.....Fuel economy is behind my mind but I gotta get the balance between street car and race car correct.... if u know what i mean....
