Is anyone else having hassles getting their license out of AASA??

PM me hints on how to do it, coz they are ignoring me

have you even received the aplication form for it?

I rang them today, was told i would receive it later this arvo via fax, got home and nothing is here yet.

is there any way of getting a cams licence this week? AFARCC or no limits? I think on the cams aplication a member of a cams affiliated club can sign the form so the licence is valid for 30 days as a form of membership?

You mean someone actually answered the phone? :ermm:

I got the forms via email, filled them out and sent them straight back about an hour after recieving them. Now I can't get phone calls, faxes or emails answered and I am getting pretty pissed off about it. I don't have the time to join a cams club and go through all the crap with them as well, so it looks like I am going to have to bow out due to no license.

I gotta say, I am sooooo pissed off about their complete lack of proffessionalism, and I hope their whole ploy with the ARC and all their other ventures goes down in a screaming heap. If they can't even get their shit together for a simple bloody club level license, what hope have they got with proffesional events?

If your car is being shared by 2 drivers, its a good idea if you are spaced out around 15 cars between each driver. I know several cars are being shared and have advised the venue of this so the cars i know are being shared have been seperated.

If your car is being shared and not seperated on the list, please let me know ASAP so i can try and ammend it.

We have a lot of drivers/entrants to get through in an afternoon so its rather important that the day flows well. Please let me know if any one needs to be moved on the list.

p.s. i wont move people on the list because your 1st or 2nd etc etc. Some one has to go first and the list order has been done at random.

yep yep, dad and i will be there aslong as i dont crash my skyline and he doesnt blow the ss up tonight at drift practice :D

the ss is great in straight line but suspension f**ked so he wil be prbly understeering round the ahg pan understeerundersteerundersteer

My car is going to be so quite lol. My exhaust is still somewhere across Australia on its way here slowly but surely :( Should be here next week.

Sam, the running order will have to be tweaked a little on the day so we can sort that out.

Adam, sorry mate i fogot about you guys sharing. When you get there sunday, find me and we will adjust the running order to suit.

      Hey Murray, hope all is good. I took your advice and put the filler first then the putty. Seems like a much better result but i noticed there are still pinholes. I even had pin holes when i initially put the putty on the body filler. Do you think it has something to do with my spreader being f*cked? I attached some images. This is the intially body filler i sanded. No putty yet  Applying putty. Final result after using wax and grease remover can see the pin holes. I just noticed as i look at the putty application it looks wavy not sure if it's supposed to be like that or because of the spreader.

      Hey all just wanting some advice. I’ve just compression tested my RB25det and these are the following results  Cyl 1 - 135psi Cyl 2 - 135psi Cyl 3 - 120psi Cyl 4 - 140psi Cyl 5 - 130psi Cyl 6 - 125psi   do these numbers seem ok.  Thanks in advance

      Rust repairs completed, doors back on! pretty much totally back together running now. All future repairs will be fiddly wiring getting everything back up to road condition.  hasn’t  taken that long considering the condition I got the sub. note my helpers keeping the back seat warm 😂
