UPDATE:

Latest news is many of the people had R32 and got work done by Dr. Drift already. Two of us look like we will be getting remaps via post.

I have a before dyno already - it's shocking ! and will give a little write up of the whole process when done.

then we'll have a little more of something to go on. In the mean time I need to get myself a series 2 ECU, as mine appears to be from a series 1 powering a series 2 engine.

woot for 100

i have been speaking with toshi about options aswell. it looks like i will be doing a remap via post

no before dyno graphs unfortunatly, but once i have his ecu in the coming weeks i will let you know how it all goes.

^^ thats wat i did.. got da remap in the mail..got chip torque to throw it in, went to hi torque to there dyno and just did some final fine tuning.. got 265hp out of my rb20 on 12psi with a stocker 25turbo with like 3" zorst,fmic,fuelpump+reg.. so mad.. 3rd gear chirpies ftw  safe tune as well.. that hawt.. didnt think i would break 200kw? :D

Toshi is currently doing my map as we speak for a series 2 rb25.

as for chiptorque doing fine tuning can they alter toshis maps to correct that parts that aare a bit out? or is that just for the rb20 ecus?

Ok guys...

Put the new ECU in today.

Mod List:

96 R33 series 2 auto

3" trust catback exhaust

Bosch 040 with 13.8 volts running to it

Silicon intake pipe with trust air filter

Cold air intake feeding pod

Turbotech Boost controller set at 12psi

Greddy Front mount intercooler

Stock AFM

Stock Turbo

Stock Injectors

Going on next week are:

Splitfire coilpacks

JJR Split dump/front pipe

Xforce 3" High flow cat

Stage 2 Shift kit from MV Automatics

pulled my ecu out and threw the new one in.

Started first time easy.

Idle was nice and smooth (a little low for the auto 500rpm, should be about 800rpm)

Didnt get to drive too much, just home from work in traffic

Car seems much smoother, pulls to 12psi flatspots are almost gone its quite responsive.

Plan is now to get the few parts that are left onto the car then onto a dyno to check over afr's

Then i will be sending the printouts to toshi so he can fine tune any areas that are out

I'll keep you updated as i go ahead with it.

but so far i am very very happy with the service Toshi has provided and he is very good to deal with.

Cheers

Steve
