Rb25 Boost Problem

Hey guys,

Just got my baby in from Japan, 93 r33 GTS-t =D Going to normal maintenance befor I take it out for the summer. After a few test runs i got my boost up a bit with out going pass the 12 PSI limit of my ceramic turbine. I had this weird thing happen at 0.80 Bar . My english is not to good so i dont know how to explain this but at 5500RPM the car seems to hit a fuel cut, feels like a speed limitor but i get kind of a rev cut from the engine. Here is my setup and what i know from this car ;

- Sard Boost controler

- what seems to be a piggy back ECU on my passenger floor

- After cat exhaust

- Got some new plugs gapped at .8 and a fresh oil change and filter

Only thing I can see is my 94 octane Canadian gas :\ Could this be solved with a simple SAFC and a good tune ?! Or should i check my ignition ?

Sounds like your car is missfiring so you might have stuffed coils time for splitfires at $600 downside the price upside the performance!

airflow cut / boost cut. do a search on these. its a common problem with running higher boost on a stock ecu. turn the boost down a bit and it should stop doing it.
