Glad the cruise went good Kell. Good to quickly meet up at the starting point before I ran out of time and had to organise my mother's 60th.

Unfortunately, the party continued on back at our place and I was way tired to be driving :P

Post up pics soon guys :bunny:

Looked like was going to be a good cruise!! Good turn out, followed sniper down into garden island seriously tough car, pity bout the oil pressure problem!! Had to bail after garden island, wife was having pregnancy pains/sickness!! Now she's got a cold to boot!! Bugger!!!

Hope all had fun though!!

6 cops!!! Impressive!!!!!

How was that white 33 last night across from Fulham Gardens, seemed to have a bit of a problem??? lots of noise, and smoke, exhaust smoke maybe??? might want to get that looked at :)

thanks for organising Kellie, was good fun as always

think i set a carwhore record sitting in about 5 cars total, people just seemed to keep inviting me.

the toyota celsior i can confirm whips any commo in the comfort department.

black GTR battle worn spec, still a monster in my book :)

think i liked night crawlers interior the best i spent alot of time in there ruining his ass grove looking at all the lil things he's changed :D cheers for letting me act like a 10yr old screaming vroom vroom in your car

Grim's stag very mint inside there and more importantly warm up at windy point :) thanks for the chat Nene still disapointed ya didnt bring the GTR out, but ill let it slide this time ;)

nice to see the regulars out as always n meet a few new people

cant believe how much attention the cops were giving my car :P id say they just went shopping for who had the biggest wheels and then check if there legal. at least the guy looking at it was nice, next time ill make sure i have my glasses on brings my looking like a hoon status down 2 notches

sorry i had to leave Kellie but i aint had a good night drinking for far too long.

Hey Dan... your welcome for the warm up and chat, will try and bring the gtr out next time... Ben doesn't like the way i drive tho, so if we head out in separate cars there might be some fire works LOL. We'll see how feisty i feel next cruise :)

Ben just likes you helping with the gear changes :D;)

    • Wife wanted basket things in the wardrobe in our temporary house. Thought about ripping our the wardrobe and fitting the entire IKEA set, but it's a temporary house and we want to move in a few years. So IKEA advertises this as a 50cm unit, however the actually basket and rails measure 46cm wide. Only issue was depth, IKEA stuff is quite deep, where as the builder special junk is super shallow at less than 40cm. Send it, chopped the rails, then offset the mounting holes, job done, happy wife, less shit scattered all over the bedroom. Did the same to the other side too. Also drove the Skyline shit box today, dropped off oil at Supercheap Auto. I didn't realise they only now take max 2x bottles per visit. I visited 2x Supercheap Autos.
    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
