JH32
In about two weeks I'm going to be getting a new clutch. For more or less the same price I can get either: 1) a 9 puck organic clutch (i think? perhaps ceramic?? i dont know) 2) a 5 puck brass button clutch Which would be the better buy? As in which will last longer, grip better etc etc. Also if I do a big launch in the grippier of the two clutches, how would the gearbox hold out? Cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/22643-gts4-clutch-organic-or-brass/ Share on other sites
sidewaymambo
Is the brass one you refer to in Brass center? If so then expect ON and OFF only.. I will use organic...beside it will handle 220rwkw without a problem. JH32
I'm not too sure if it's a brass centre or not. A mate has one in his car and I don't think his is on/off, so perhaps it's not a brass centre  I don't know much about clutches Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/22643-gts4-clutch-organic-or-brass/#findComment-486287 Share on other sites
Craved
Well if the brass button is not solid centre, then it will have the most grip, down side is that it wont last as long as a solid ring organic clutch--- have to choose what you want from it!!
