1) if they are installed properly, they are very good and will support over 600hp.

2) seen them from about 400 - 550

3) They are a bit tricky to get in, some of the fittings can be hard to find. If you do a search, there is a good thread that covers installing pumps not too far back.

What sort of hp are you chasing? Cos there are some other good options available that are cheaper and easier to install.

Do they have a mounting bracket that sits the 044 pump properly in the right spot or do they re-use the old bracket? Because mine is a little bit mangled :) I wouldn't mind buying something that puts it in the right position. At the moment I'm contemplating running a longer hose to pick up the fuel from lower.

jee u must know them well,i havnt seen them under $300 and i have bought a few, just bought 2 for my r32 and cost me $600 and then to fit intank and do it properly you need about $75 in fittings and also labour to fit into the tank.

u paid $320 for a $450 minimum job,are u sure its not an 040 or another brand pump.

No surge for me unless I'm below the empty line on the gauge (<8-10 litres). I know why it's doing it though, it's because the pickup doesn't go as far down into the tank because the pump is in a different position. One day when I can be bothered I'm going to take it out and put in some longer hose so it gets the fuel from further down in the tank.

If yours is doing it with half a tank you probably have a dodgy install. Have you got the original pick-up fitted to the bottom of the pump or is the fuel going straight into the pump?

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
