bubba
I killed one 20 box with 183rwkw behind the RB20, beat up on it pretty hard though and I think it was rather tired to begin with. Replaced it with another 20 box and it was fine till I put the RB30 in.. then it didn't even last 2 months with the 3L torque. All other drivetrain components are fine but I put Nismo 2way in about 8 months ago because the stocker diff was single pegging it. Tailshaft is also a custom unit to handle uber torque and was built when the 25box went in. StOjA32
So would you say the best thing for me to do is ... wait n see if i blow my 20 box then get it replace with a 25 box? is the 25 box much stronger or is there another solution for a similar cost price>? bubba
Not really any other options for the price or cheaper. 25 box is plenty strong and if you break it, you can always build it stronger (bigger shafts, aftermarket gear sets etc.) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/229444-standard-drive-train-how-much-can-it-handle/#findComment-4040732 Share on other sites
