Comments / Modifications:

After lots of umming and ahhing I think I have decided to sell my GTR. It is a 1995 R33 V-Spec which was hand-picked and personally imported in 1999 by the previous owner. For those of you who do not know, a personally imported vehicle must be owned for 12 months in Japan by the owner before it is eligible for import. Thus, you can imagine personal imports tend to be of a higher quality than other imports. On top of this “yellow plates” have some neat advantages over regular imports in most states of Australia whereby they do not need to comply with certain ADRs (you’ll need to contact your local authorities to clarify).

The owner before me has sensibly and significantly modified the car with the main focus being reliability and performance. Much money has been spent on quality and reliability modifications. Almost all standard parts have been retained and will be sold with the car (depending on the price). The car has also been extremely well maintained, tuned and serviced by UAS before I purchased the car in 07. Since then I have spent much time and money getting the car how I want it (more every day friendly). There is no accident history on this car at all and serious buyers are very welcome to inspect the body and mechanicals.

Engine:

R33 N1 turbos

Tomei Poncam B camshafts (stock cams will be included with sale)

Tomei adjustable cam gears (stock cams gears will be included with sale)

Tomei timing belt

Tomei oil orifice

Trust oil cooler

Trust intercooler (extremely thick)

Custom large capacity brass radiator

Custom aluminium re-circulating catch can (with integrated washer bottle)

Custom 8L baffled sump with cooling wings

Nismo engine mounts

Silicone heater hose set (ALL heater hoses are blue silicone)

New genuine Nissan water pump, timing pullies and other items here and there.

Drive line:

Lightened flywheel

UAS heavy duty single plate clutch (very nice to drive with)

Nismo gearbox mount

18x9.5’ Advan AVS Model 6 wheels (very light and strong)

Suspension and brakes:

Tanabe Sus-tec PRO coilover suspension (stock suspension is in at the moment because I prefer the softer ride for every day driving BUT if you like I can arrange to have the coilovers put in before the sale)

Pagid racing pads (front and rear, stock brake pads will be included with sale)

Stereo:

Kenwood 25th anniversary deck

Boston acoustics GT42 4ch amp

Dynaudio MKII front splits

JL audio W6 subwoofer

Kenwood rear fill

Others:

Apexi Power FC W HC (stock computer will be included with the sale)

Apexi Power FC Boost control kit

Duncan’s locally made Attessa controller

Nismo 300 kph instrument cluster (Showing 36, 000km but I still have the original with around 50, 000km on it which will be included with the sale)

Blitz Boost gauge mounted on A pillar

Dual 2.5’ SS Japanese exhaust system off the turbo (amazing)

Nismo clear side indicators

Tinted windows

Quick Track alarm system

Stats:

305 rwkw on UAS dyno on 1 bar boost (dyno sheets to prove)

307 rwkw on Uni Group dyno on 13.5 Psi (dyno sheets to prove)

Since the above two Uni Group have detuned the car to 285 rwkw to improve fuel consumption at my request. The original tunes are available at Uni Group and UAS if the purchaser wishes to restore either of these. If the injectors, pump and AFM were changed both tuners agree that the car could jump the 350rwkw mark.

Images: I will post up some better ones ad soon as i get a chance. The first few are how the car looks at the moment with the stock suspension, the second pics are how it looks with the coilovers in.

+ a few more

Such a same to see this car go!!!. I have driven it a few times and is a absolute Hoot to drive.

As said in previous post, sensibly modified with things that *most* owners wont do. IE sump.

    • Drain it. I got official Matic D but you can get whatever is listed as Matic D compatible.
    • Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻
    • Nice car! I’m glad folks in the US have gotten past the FnF and are buying real cool cars like the 260RS I was with a bunch of mates in Portland about a year ago and spotted a green Stagea (just a regular 2.5T AWD) parked about 2 blocks away and they were like “a what?” So I made a bet with them for a round of beers and said “ok one of you run down there and tell me if the steering wheel is on the correct side” 5 mins later the American comes trudging back up the hill and goes “he’s right guys. Ok what beer do you want?”
    • Should replace OR drop the tank, give it's good clean. Might be worth replacing that entire fuel level/pump/cradle thing with this: https://frenchysperformancegarage.com/products/fpg-s13-180sx-r32gtst-single-pump-hanger-kit-billet-hat-6-v3-fpg-089?gQT=2
