So what did everyone do wrong to get their license suspended?

For 10 months that must've been pretty major yeah?

i was on the 1 point for 1 year plan

was driving to work in our spare car - ended up forgetting p plates got done (automatic 6months)

2 days later going GP same car same cop and me a complete dickhead shtill no p plates and another 3 months on

Lol i did something pretty stupid at 4am and didnt think ide get caught, and yea here i am lol

lol yeah it's always when you least expect a cop to be there, then you get done. Happened to my mates so many times.

I actually haven't been caught yet. I live in a suburb with no police station so it's pretty easy to get away with a lot.

Hypothetically, if I got caught going 100km over the limit, what would the penalties be? :P

well i got done 70 over the limti still waiting on court..but its looks like 12-18months with no license and a hefty fine... my mistake for rushing to a car accident..i knwo speeding is speeding but was a bit dissapointed with the cops attitude...

Man that sucks :P 12 - 18 months is so harsh. Hopefully you can get off easier seeing as you have a legit excuse.

  • 3 months later...

I just went to court today for DUI. I got 6 months suspention starting from when i first lost my licence and only a $300 dolla fine. I blew 0.09 or mid range and on my red P's. Thats pretty good ay!! only 3 more months to go until i get them back. But id never do it again as it is a bad experience lol. and when i was driving i didnt even feel intoxicated!! but it goes off ya breath not how ya feel so remeber that everyone lol.

But does anyone know where to go or how to get them back after the suspention period is up in NSW??? um come to think of it i think i am in the wrong part of this site haha.

just remember if its 6 months and u were doing 35 over it usually means 6 months plus 4 months extra at the end of the 6 or one year on 1 point well thats what happened to me :P but thats all over now :P

Ah the ole licence loss, well the first time I lost mine I was doing around 185 in a 60 zone and before you all start I was on a bike and in the twisty's and the second 145 in a 60 bike twisty's again gggrrrr.

I just cant ride on the roads anymore I see red everytime, and no I've never lost my licence in a car a few fines for dumb shit but nothing too crazy didnt do a miror check and decided a bit of sideways action might be fun and bam there goes red red and blue lights well thats my effort onto you guy's.....

    • I've heard the Tomei USA head gaskets are decent if you want to o-ring the heads but otherwise not recommended.
    • The 296mm rotors are the R33 turbo brakes. The 310mm rotors are the R34 turbo brakes. The calipers are nearly the same, but not. They're the same caliper but the R34 caliper has longer legs so that it sits out far enough to go over the rotor. The pads are the same for both. When you say, "I bough tsome EBC"....did you just mean pads? Or rotors? 310mm rotors fit under 17" wheels. There may be some wheels without enough clearance though. I can't fit my fingers between the barrel of my wheel and the "corners" of my R34 calipers, but there is plenty of room behind the spokes. This is on Enkei RPF1. You can fit 324mm rotors inside a 17" wheel, but I'd be willing to bet that it would be close to impossible with the Nissan/Sumitomo caliper (using an adapter, of course), because the Sumitomo caliper is fatter than the Brembo caliper that is supposed to go on the 324mm rotors.
    • Hi. Can someone tell me what brakes(and mainly WHERE) can i buy brakes on R34 GTT? I bought some EBC which SHOULD go on my car(i have GT but it has GTT brakes) but it does not fit, Brakes are "too" small(296mm) Are 310mm be good or? I have 17 inch wheel so no "big boys" but for me driving i just need one that fits and i can get here in EU/Czech.
    • Since winter isn't that harsh anymore in Poland, i will definetely drive it 365 days a year 😉. But if the snow hits i will try it for sure and let U know. Only swap i am planning to do is of course R34 GTR front 😍.
    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 🙏 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 😉. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 😍 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
