Item: Custom dump pipe for greddy turbo with ceramic coat

Age: Used

Condition: Has black ceramic coat

Price: 250

To Fit: (What car) RB26DETT

Location: Gold Coast

Contact: PM

Comments: These pipes were used with the Mines extension pipes when my high flow N1's were replaced with the Greddy T517z's. They were made specifically for the Greddy turbo to accommodate for the reverse wastegate swing. They were good enough for 400+rwkw on a RB26

Will post pictures asap

All PMs replied.

The Mines dumps are still available.

I am still waiting for reply from R34kid on the Mines Pro front pipe.

The custom dump is on hold atm

If you check the cost for ceramocoat you will realise that I my asking price are ridiculously low lol

I am on leave from work at the moment and I am just keen to clear some of these stuffs out of my shed

Sorry guys been flat out at work,

can you please post up a pic of the underneath of the front pipe also. I will check again on here first thing tomorrow morning, as long as it is not bashed at all underneath I will flick you through an offer.

Also can you confirm that the longer of the two pipes, the one that goes to the front turbo is not dented behind the other pipe, it could just be a shadow on the pic

BTW I got a quote for the coating at $125 from Jet Hot.

cheers

R34kid, that quote is really cheap. I just coated my other dump pipes by Competition Coating in QLD and the coating for those 2 short pipes costed $280 :(

I will take some mores pics tonight. The above setup were big enough to flow 2 largest low mount Greddy turbo on a stroked RB engine so I wouldn't worry about restriction :P

I am uploading more pictures of the front pipe now. That black thing on the picture is a shadow as I took the picture late last night. There isn't any dent around there. There is small dent on the under side but is only minimal and is expected for a lowered car :D You will see in the pics shortly. Overall the pipe is still in good nick. It's has a 20cmx8cm pipe and two 80cm by 7cm tuned pipes. R34kid, if you can still get both side black ceramocoat for $125 please let me know so I can send stuffs to Jet Hot for coating in the future.

wow that is nasty, Jet Hot said $60 per metre at 80mm diametre, for black ceramocoat - they also do stainless finish ceramocoat which would be pretty sweet

hmmm that is a really good price for heat coating. Thanks for the referral :P

So, do the mines dumps fit a pair of T517z's or was that only the custom ones you had?

The Mines dump pipes were designed for Garrett turbo. As far as I know they don't have dumps for Greddy. You will either have to use the Greddy or custom because the Greddy wastegate hinge is on the reverse side of the Garrett.

I am selling a set of T517 so the custom dump is reserved for the turbo buyer. If the buyer refused to take the offer then it's available on the market. Sorry for any confusion.

All good, no confusion... I just thought it might have been an option before i go buy a pair of tomei dumps instead, or nismoids's trust split front pipes.

If you have trust turbo, the tomei dumps won't fit either.

Sorry correction, they all fit but the back of the dump will get in the way of the waste gates. So they may not open fully or get jammed up on the dump :~

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
