Weird Boost Issue On R33 Gtr

Hi guys,

got a bit of an annoying problem on my r33 gtr. car is pretty standard with a catback only.

yesterday i drilled out the factory restrictor with a 2mm drillbit which gave me 12 psi boost. goes pretty good and dosent lean out, splutter or carry on.

What i have noticed though if i ease the throttle to about half way and increase my boost pressure past factory boost it it goes straight back to stock boost. even if i put the foot down after that.

But when i switch the car off and start it straight after it will run 12 psi again no problem. This is very strange.

need some expert advice please

When my friend pulled out his restrictor, it only boosted to around 7psi. Then, he reset the ecu and it never happened again. Try that

i was thinking of trying that but didnt think it would do anything. il give it a go tomorow.
