Pivot Fan Controller Wiring Diagram

hi does any one here have a wiring diagram or know what the colours are for the Pivot Super Temp Controller (Water Temp + Oil Temp + Fan Control?

there is blue,blk,white,orange,green and red which is closer to the unit

I am wiring up one of these and someone at the local import workshop has told me that Skyline R33's have two temp sensors one for the temp gauge and one for the ecu

they tell me i should wire the pivot super temp controller to the gauge temp sensor not the ecu sensor, but in the pivot instructions it say wire it to the ecu sensor

???

any help appriciated
