Rb25det Auto Into Vl Rb30

Hi,

Has anyone fitted a RB25det automatic box into a VL on a RB30et?

Does this work ok with stock vl auto trans ecu and does the vl auto tailshaft fit?

no idea but the auto box in the vl is better

and doesnt need auto ecu, as its a mech auto box

r33 auto is elec auto box

as Paul said,

the internals are fairly similar but the vl trans is mechanically controlled not electricaly controlled so you wont need the auto ecu wiring loom out of the 33.

in saying that if you all ready have the trans and the full wiring loom it should be a fairly simple install.
