ABOUT: Well for those who don't know me, my name is Joe and I look after the crew in the Far North. Live out at Holloways beach and I am lucky enough to get to drive my skyline up to Port Douglas each day for work.... One of the best roads on the planet :)

even though the car is a daily, it gets drifted at the drift events that have been happening up this way......

ABout: ghey-ass 16 inch mags, pod filter, cat back exhaust, bleed valve running about 10psi, umm yeh thats about it, pretty stocko, will be upgrading as soon as money is available lol

ME: I love music, mainly of the rock/metal/alternative genre, but alot of other types aswell. and i love driving my stagea :(

ABOUT: Got rid of my drift spec 308rwkw 180sx for something more civilised with comfy leather seats, Iv also got a Kawasaki Ninja ZX636 if I want to go stupidly fast. Quote of the day waiting @ the traffic lights from the driver next to me "is that thing turbo?"

hey yeah how are you bud....

yeah heres the things i had done. New head gasket, head bolt set, manifold gasket set, camshaft seal, cylinder head repairs, new spark plugs, new high performance timing belt. and a few other little things.

its was a pain in the ass seeing i just got it 2 months ago and the guy i bort it off wanted nothing to do with it when we called him.

but hey what r u gonna do......she's running like great now..

Hi all just got a few questions, im looking at installing a intercooler in my r34 gt-t any advice about what to look at and maby where i could get it installed would be great.. i looked at a few on just jap's website r they anygood???

btw i live in cairns........ also if anyone could recomend a good mechanic.

ABOUT: Just bought my GTR, keen on getting involved with some of the cruises. Plan to keep the skyline a sleeper and prob just enjoy driving it the way it is for a while before i start doing to many mods.

Hi, I am one of the SAUQLD club events executives in cairns, there are more cairns guys at www.sauqld.com (club site)

There is a cruise in Cairns on the 14th June.

The plans were to meet at smithfield, head up the kuranda range and head to the mako track

yea woulda been me probs..

but yea I am keen as mustard. Great minds think alike hey? haha.. If i can get the day off work I will be there for sure!

any1 keen for a cruise this sunday (7th) aswell?? mayb head up 2 port or somethin for a feed, iv got this sunday off and am keen if any1 else is??

hiya Cairns crew

Im up in cairns lunchtime wed 17/6- sun 21/6 evening.

sunday hitched up for a chopper flight out to the reef, dive then cruise back,

friday doing the skyrail and train sight-see all day

saturday will be a free day to look around central cairns

.... anywhere to look/see? good chippery and/or bakery recommended? :dry:

lol, hope to see a Stag or 'Line whilst Im lounging around trinity beach with the missus, 1st holiday wooooot

no kids in the luggage either; hai 5's

      Bit difficult to follow. Have a look below and see what the standard R32 layout was like. Note there was a restrictor in place immediately before "turbocharged pressure control solenoid" that, if removed, magically got you 1 bar boost.

      I might be way off the mark here.. there must be a T junction under the manifold. That takes manifold pressure through a check valve prior to the T, one side splits out to this bleed off orifice, the other straight to the wastegate actuators.

      Carrying out some engine due diligence before my first drive in a 260RS that has been in storage for 10+ years, and found two lines that are susposed to be plumbed into the boost control solenoid. One of the lines (the wastegate boost supply line) to actuate the gates, had a bolt in one end blocking it. The other line (main boost signal line) from the very rear of the intake manifold (RB26DETT) and runs up to the boost controller had this pill in the end of it as seen in photos. Other than the obvious (T28 Ceramic turbos might well be cooked)  Can anyone shed any light on if there is any validity at all with this mod, bleeding a constant fixed rate of manifold boost pressure off through this 3mm hole?  Is it deliberate?  Was this a 90s Jap mod done to RB26's? Or has someone just fitted this without any idea of what happens to ceramic T28s if they are not gate controlled?

      This looks great! Awesome to have the 5 speed with an LSD in this. The Recaro's look like SR2's or SR3's. It's a shame they've been retrimmed as they would have looked sweet in their original colours. I think I'd want my agent to be a little more up front and informative too. I've never imported but I reckon it would make me a little nervous, so the more info the better.
