R34 Fresh Tune

Hey Im new to SAU so howdy all....

Was just curious, I hear ppl talk about jap cars being down tuned alot to deal with emissions etc. So my question is, how much power would a R34 GTR with just a fresh tune and exhaust. The way some ppl talk it seems that its a locked away monster, is there that much to gain just from a tune?

Cheers guys, Id appreciate any ideas/opinions. A good mate of mine is in the process of buying one now.

Do the cam gears and Power FC and tune, and increase boost to close to 1 bar and you should get 240-260 RWKW more or less for an R33 GTR, I assume R34's are similar.
