hey guys

im pondering what is next for the 32.. and thought a bit more boost would be nice.. seems to be running 7psi and from my searching that 12psi is goodly.. so i dig around and find an old boost controller, only to come across something ive never seen before.. the hose goes from the turbo to wastegate.. no factory boost controller. all the turbo'd cars ive worked on, have all had some form of factory boost control that you just replace with your own adj boost controller.

so where does the bloody thing go?? how does it work?? and do i need to muck around with the actuator or replace it with another one or what??

it was my thinking that the boost controller reduces the amount of air that flows to actuate the wastgate, hence it not opening as much, but i also remember an easy boost fix on the rb26 is to take out the restrictor in the line for 1bar straight away..

ive had a big day and found a p/s leak so my heads not exactly with it at the moment and the answer is probably staring at me.

cheers

Linton

thanks, thats what i thought.. just getting another opinion. ive blown a turbo on the dyno when the hose to the boost controller blew off... dunno if this was the cause or it was the dyno, but just to be sure.. im a bit wary of upping the boost.
