Hey guys, I have searched and searched and searched on here, and on GTRC and have not found any real answeres for my problem.

Anyways, here's the situation.

I purchased the car (1992 HCR32) at the begining of this summer with little modifications to it, however it has a RPS Max 6 puck sprung clutch, nismo pivot, nismo ss line, nismo flywheel, and a nismo solid shifter. Upon purchasing the car, the clutch pedal had a lot of free play, with the master cylinder rod fully lengthened there was still tons of play. Roughly 35% - 40% of the pedal stroke was free play, and the engagement point was nearly at the bottom of the stroke. Drove fine though, solid engagment, never slipped.

Then I had a problem, the clutch didn't want to fully disengage and selecting gears was extremely difficult. I could put the car in gear, clutch in, and it would still slightly pull me forward, but not stall as if the clutch was just half engaged. I drove it to the garage with this, and now I can't select any gears when the vehicle is running. It won't click into any gear at all however it will go into reverse and then immediatley stall.

I have bled the system numerous times, removed the dampener and still nothing. Nothing is visually leaking either. When the clutch is pushed there is movement in the slave cylinder underneath the car.

Through my searching I have found a variety of possibilities. Clutch release fork, shifter bushing no longer intact, clutch may be shot.

So I'm hoping you guys may be able to help me!

Your time and help is much appreciated,

Thanks a lot guys;

Rob.

i have a similar issue but not as prevalent as yours. my car will slightly disengage when the clutch is depressed and still creep forward. My gearbox is starting to whine now when the car is cold but after a minute of driving it disapears and is fine???

yeah man,

pressure plate fins could be bent, that stuffs up the gearing, it happened to me and i couldnt get it into any gears,

another thing is, can you adjust the clutch anymore at the pedal? like is there more thread that you can screw the thing out with attaches to the pedal?

but then again saying that, its not a new clutch and did work didnt it? so im going with stuffed pressure plate,
