Hi guys, sorry for the long listings but this is now my completed version of my cars guide sale page so you dont have to do to the link in the previous post.

All the best

Also, the car is in South Australia, i dont think i have mentioned that anywhere before, cheers!

R33 1994 Nissan Skyline Sedan for sale is garaged for aprox 80% of the time and is in great shape both body wise and mechanically. I pride myself on A1 presentation and the car is always in excellent display / presentation.

I am selling the car because im now looking for a R34 sedan and there are no hidden issues with this car. Im looking to buy the R34 in the next few weeks and im wiling to negotiate prices if anyone is interested in the car.

I am the 2nd owner in Australia after being imported by Joes Golden Gasoline’s and have had the car for 4 years now.

The car has not been thrashed and i bought it at the start of my first full time employment as an economical "luxury cruiser", which it is and has been for 4 years without fail. I have had NO crazy modifications or alterations done to the car except for a mild exhaust fitted by AAA exhausts in Richmond which looks great!

I have driven to Melbourne and back (from Adelaide, SA) without any issues and runs like clockwork. Below are some specs and details about the car.

2.5L Non- turbo 147kw of race bred power

Averages 10L/100kms (very fuel efficient with power ++)

Best consumption was 8.9L/100Kms (Melbourne Trip) and worst was 14L/100kms (inner city driving to work).

Smooth 5 Speed Automatic Trans (rare) with power & snow hold

Custom made rear parcel shelf (one of a kind) to fit 6X9 speakers with leather wrap finish

JVC & Panasonic premium sound system with amplifier & X2 10" subwoofers (I have two head units that can fit in the car and you have a choice of a DVD head unit or mp3 player)

Lowered (lowest legal limit)

Window Tint (Darkest Legal Tint)

18" Verde Scorpion Rims with gold inserts (Imported from USA)

Kuhmo low profile Tyres (225X18) (Aprox 80% tread left)

(very quite and comfortable ride)

Platinum spark plugs (They don’t have to be replaced for another 100,000kms)

2 1/4 exhaust with 6" cannon muffler

High flow/ Performance air filter

Xenon Gas headlights

Polished headlights (appears like glass)

Leather hand brake cover

Serviced regularly @ Midas Glenelg (every 6 months)

Mechanically A1 and the interior is immaculate

Retractable mirrors, power steering, power front & rear windows, climate control to front and rear, sports steering wheel, central locking with alarm system.

The car also has an auto door locking safety function which ensures that passengers cannot unlock the doors when the car exceeds 20kms/hr.

Price $12,500

Contact Evan 0401039556 or email [email protected]

If you have any questions about the car feel free to contact me anytime via sms or email as i shift work and could sometimes miss calls.

Hi poeple, any comments would be greatly appriciated, either via pm or on this thread....let me know what you think of my car and /or price and demand for 4 door skylines..............or non turbo skylines in general!!!

I think that this is a great car for economical reasons, looks, style and luxury features...............i think $11,300 is a reasonable price for this.

Please let me know what you guys and girls are thinking out there.

Cheers,

Evan

Sold mine just 4 months ago for way less than that...with 12 months rego.... but less trinkets too, although sound system was awesome!

What sort of price range did you aim for (if you dont mind me asking) and trinkets?????

Well if you happen to know anyone in the market for a non turbo R33 sedan send them my way!!!

Thanks for the comments mate,

Comments:

Very clean and mint example of a sedan but...

• Those rims are awful... very awful and I don't think really offer any thing to the car. Obviously they are your taste so maybe you would be better off trying to offer a buyer the option of cheaper stock rims for a lower price on the car.

• You initial asking price was really out there. Most people pay that price for a mint turbo model. $10,000 is cheaper but still a big asking price for a non turbo sedan. I've seen turbo models selling for 8-9k lately.

• Auto's are just not in as big as demand

• The market for skylines has just been awful and a lot of people have been finding it hard to get there asking price.

Hope this helps, I don't want to come across too negative but maybe these reasons can help explain why you might be having trouble selling. Good luck!

Well....................thanks for your comments man.

This is my first skyline and i wasnt sure exactully how much i could get for it. And considering what the finaicial market is doing, my cause isnt that great at the moment!

Well the only think i can say is that ive looked after it to the highest of highs and when/if somebody finally buys it they will have a solid car that will treat them well (no hassles). Mechanically it hasn't been modified, which for R33's, and most skylines really, is a rare find. All cosmetic stuff here guys, which mind you can be removed if one chooses!

And as for the wheels...............well ive heard heaps of different opinions, i think they look nice, others (like yourself) think they look like crap, eitherway they stand out in a crowd n you definetelly get noticed!!!

Again thanks for the comments, have a good one!

    • I guess one thing that might be wrong is the manifold pressure.  It is a constant -5.9 and never moves even under 100% throttle and load.  I would expect it to atleast go to 0 correct?  It's doing this with the OEM MAP as well as the ECU vacuum sensor. When trying to tune the base map under load the crosshairs only climb vertically with RPM, but always in the -5.9 column.
    • AHHHH gotchaa, I'll do that once I am home again. I tried doing the harness with the multimeter but it seems the car needed a jump, there was no power when it was in the "ON" position. Not sure if I should use car battery jump starter or if its because the stuff that has been disconnect the car just does send power.
    • As far as I can tell I have everything properly set in the Haltech software for engine size, injector data, all sensors seem to be reporting proper numbers.  If I change any injector details it doesnt run right.    Changing the base map is having the biggest change in response, im not sure how people are saying it doesnt really matter.  I'm guessing under normal conditions the ECU is able to self adjust and keep everything smooth.   Right now my best performance is happening by lowering the base map just enough to where the ECU us doing short term cut of about 45% to reach the target Lambda of 14.7.  That way when I start putting load on it still has high enough fuel map to not be so lean.  After 2500 rpm I raised the base map to what would be really rich at no load, but still helps with the lean spots on load.  I figure I don't have much reason to be above 2500rpm with no load.  When watching other videos it seems their target is reached much faster than mine.  Mine takes forever to adjust and reach the target. My next few days will be spent making sure timing is good, it was running fine before doing the ECU and DBW swap, but want to verify.  I'll also probably swap in the new injectors I bought as well as a walbro 255 pump.
    • It would be different if the sealant hadn't started to peel up with gaps in the glue about ~6cm and bigger in some areas. I would much prefer not having to do the work take them off the car . However, the filler the owner put in the roof rack mount cavities has shrunk and begun to crack on the rail delete panels. I cant trust that to hold off moisture ingress especially where I live. Not only that but I have faded paint on as well as on either side of these panels, so they would need to come off to give the roofline a proper respray. My goal is to get in there and put a healthy amount of epoxy instead of panel filler/bog and potentially skin with carbon fiber. I have 2 spare rolls from an old motorcycle fairing project from a few years back and I think it'd be a nice touch on a black stag.  I've seen some threads where people replace their roof rack delete with a welded in sheet metal part. But has anyone re-worked the roof rails themselves? It seems like there is a lot of volume there to add in some threads and maybe a keyway for a quick(er) release roof rack system. Not afraid to mill something out if I have to. It would be cool to have a cross bar only setup. That way I can keep the sleek roofline that would accept a couple bolts to gain back that extra utility  3D print some snazzy covers to hide the threaded section to be thorough and keep things covered when not using the rack.
    • Probably not. A workshop grade scantool is my go to for proper Consult interrogation. Any workshop grade tool should do it. Just go to a workshop.
