Rb30 Flexplate - Upgraded

Gents,

require any feed back in relation to who knows of what combination with big hp that is running a standard RB30 FlexPlate?

I am not sure what the likes of Rajaab are using as i have asked with no reply.

Yella Terra used to make billet flex plates and one would simply put own ring gear on to it.

Do any of you know where there may be a second hand or new Flex Plate as i would like to try see how obtainable one is and if it really is worth doing as i have found sometimes it is easy to spend money on something that is not that benificial other than saying i have a "Billet " FP. The standard may handle large HP - i simply don't know - hence feedback required .

Not a 30, but from that pix at the bottom of the page you can probably guess what the plate looked like before it died at 330kw. Also the one made up to replace it.

still got std rb30 flexplate on my drag car no issues after 6 years of punishment

I agree - the 34 appears light duty compared to the 30 - if you have had it on that long then i am going to run with my standard i think .
