hey guys, im rebuilding my rb25 atm with a rb26 crank and a i have noticed that nissan use difference bearing grades for different tolerences. so how is it possible for aftermarket bearings just to sell them as a rb26 set when they are all meant do be different? ive had the main tunnel honed and the crank just linished and im using acl race series with 1 thou extra oil clearance. four of the mains had 2 thou clearance and three had a little under, around 1.7 thou. is it safe to run the bearings like this or would it have been advisable to get the crank reground with oversize bearings? the crank is already in and im just about to drop in the pistons so im hoping i dont have to pull it apart and get it all redone.

also im using arp main studs and head studs, from what i can see the mains should be 60ft/lbs. is this correct, jus seemed a little under what i expected. also what torque setting do you use for the head studs?

thanks for your help.
