BTW, welcome to saturday

hey, leave me alone, i'm just get aquainted with saturday myself ;)

Pretty broad article, but i guess it lets people "outside" this area know what is going on.

I hate the b.s. rhetoric the manufacturers go on about "buyers are often left without warranty or parts" like its a major issue. More liek they don't like it because they don't make money off the ripoff rates they charger for dealer servicing. Thing is, everybody who buys an import goes in knowing that - like i could be bothered going along with all the shit you have to do to keep your warranty valid. Half the time all of that rubbish that ends up costing you more than a few major replacements anyway.

One thing about Japanese cars is for sure they don't NEED the silly warranty coz they're so well built! Stupid aussie cars come out of the factory and fall apart a few months later, so you need one. Both the skylines I've owned have had so little problems they haven't needed anything fixed, and they've been 10 years or older. Never needed a warranty, or many parts for that matter.

I mean hell, its not that hard to get parts around for imports in one way or another either. Might take a little more time, but so what....
