while i do give my car wax's and regular wash's ive noticed some seem to go a bit overboard with the time + effort on cleaning. i mean you could just get the car resprayed for cheaper every 2 years

costs me $3, $1 for soap spray, $1 for brush (use it for a few minutes after its finished tho) and $1 for rinse.

do it like once a month, hard to keep a matte finish looking clean.

I never bother cleaning my car really until I really feel like it. My cars always dirty and usually after I clean it, the next day there is something on the paint so I don't bother much anymore.

I wash my car once every few days unless it rains - I love seeing my car so brank spanking shiny... then it gets filthied up again going through the hills collecting bugs or freeway driving to go see my girlfriend.
