The can be leaned out over time though during the running in period and good tuning. If it continues to run rich, you gotta let it go and trade up. The headlights generally are a problem though unless you don't mind carrying a bit of extra weight. The race spec with less weight generally take out things like xenons but it's simply a design flaw as I don't think they were designed to drive at night. I believe the headlight issue is made up for in both the styling and overall appeal of a HPI Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/25071-oh-the-relief/page/3/#findComment-532549 Share on other sites

Jamezilla
I went for the long wheelbase european luxury model myself. Sure, it can give you a few headaches, and is sometimes expensive to run (requires premium fuel) - but a true drivers model that, in either sport or cruise mode, can give you hours of enjoyment. Shape is quite timeless, so sometimes hard for others to pinpoint how old it is - and is actually younger than you'd think. Only downside is that when left alone, can attract a little too much of the wrong type of attention. Lots of extras and just enough room in the back. I'm told the headlights are in line for an upgrade (as part of the used vehicle warranty) so I'm waiting on information from the factory about the extent of this. Not unhappy with their current performance though. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/25071-oh-the-relief/page/3/#findComment-532860 Share on other sites
Wardest
And the winner of the Best Application of Car Lingo to his Bird, award goes to James. Mate, that was a champagne bit of commentary. Not only did you show expert knowledge of the car industry catch phrases but you applied them perfectly to your current "transport" I am thouroughly impressed by your commitment to convey as much information as possible without actually stating the obvious. 10 points mate, a performance like that can't be faded. :burnout: Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/25071-oh-the-relief/page/3/#findComment-532871 Share on other sites

Wardest
Mate, I don't give a fat rat's crack whether it was off topic or not. My threads are for my amusement only so if its funny, post it. And that was hell funny. I don't think it can be topped actually. I think you should show the post to Louise and let her bask in the pride as well. I'll be starting some new threads soon when I lose interest in this one. Don't worry about keeping them on topic. As long as they stay funny unlike that damn Vic Wasteland. When I get bored with the thread, I'll ask the Mods to close it. ( see the "Just Ask Wardest" thread for example ) Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/25071-oh-the-relief/page/3/#findComment-532900 Share on other sites
