hey guys, well after all this screwing around we have found the issue i think... chasing a fan hub(for the fan that blows onto the radiator)

Seems i can hold mine with 1 finger while the car is running so shes screwed!

Needed asap... if you have one spare or layin around that you dont need, please pm me or give me a call

Now $470 seems a bit steep to me, so looking for a cheapy, as long as it works and fits, i dont care!

sorry guys, maybe i got a little ahead of myself... wont be buying till probably the second week of jan... as i dont go back to work till then, but definatly wanting one so keep throwing up what youve got!

Go to toyota and buy 2 tubes of silicon oil ($10)

Pull your fan off and drill 2 holes in the meaty part of the aluminium.

Squeeze oil into hub (1 hole is to let air out) until it is full.

Spin the hub a few times to get any air pockets out.

Seal both holes with a couple of screws and teflon tape (white stuff plumbers use)

Reattach fan to car.

Drive!!!

Yes this works. Have done it on many nissan patrols (same fan) and on my r33.

This will not lock up the fan!!! It will still disengage when the engine is cool.
