Small issue here

when my car is on the dyno the dyno wideband read 12-12.5afrs

but on my LC1 gauge it goes down as low as 10s at the same point

I have read many threads on the Innovate forums and they say this is normal

as the dyno has the sniffer in the tailpipe and that can make it read leaner

(my wideband is about 12" from turbo in the dump pipe)

this has me worried that if I was to tune the car to the afrs on the LC1 that would make it way too lean on a chassis dyno

basically what is accurate and what isn't

yes be very worried.

my techedge wide band is within .1 of a AFR with Hunter All Wheel Dyno's meter when running it up.

Your unit may need to be calibrated. I am not sure how to do it but if you ask around a few people have those, i think The Mafia has one.

You should take it back and get the local product Techedge, if you have ANY issues he sorts it out for you and can talk to you because he is local in australia and his service is second to none!

make sure your wideband is working correctly before you tune it or you could damage your engine.

Sounds like you may not have it calibrated correctly in the unit using the PC software. I had the same issue as it was using a 2v spread instead of a 5v.

Also, I had issues with the gas flowing past the sensor too quickly and the readings would freeze. I bought the tailpipe adaptor and it works great now. The delay is split second and you're tuner should know what he is doing anyway so it won't matter.
