Nissan 180sx

Location: Ballarat

Condition: Excellent condition

Reason for selling: Time to calm down...... a little

Payment details $16,500 or consider swap or trade plust cash adjustment if required

Details:

The engine was professionally built over 6 months by a very reputable ca18 engine builder and is capable of pushing out 250rwkw and around 700nm or torque, in it's current state it's running a measly 167.5rwkw as the car is only used as a daily driver to and from work. This can obviously be changed in cab.

I'm getting a little older and have come to the conclusion that I don't need a race car to get me too and from work, also the car needs to be driven the way it was designed and built.

Being a ca18 this car can be driven very economically which is a bonus in this day and age. Not sure if it's because I'm a little older too but I've had absolutely no police attention in this car what so ever.

I could be interested in swap or trade plus cash adjustment if required.

Feel free to contact me for any extra info etc

upgraded roller bearing turbo?

capable of 250rwkw?

Yeah mate as in it's bigger than what was origionally on there and im not sure of the specs, i could be a twat and make up a bunch of numbers but at the end of the day, why tell storys?

And the 'capable' is in reference to the engine being able to get that high on a rude tune, it'd require different fuel and would be detrimental to the engine to run it that hard for a long while. The engine will however happily drive safe at 210-220rw

    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
    • You have a knack for photography my friend. It makes the 86 look like a complete bucket. The 34 went with you to Europe and back. It's special. (we all feel the same about our 'shitboxes' that every bystander seems to absolutely love)
    • It's been quite the ordeal but hey, at least you figured it out.
    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow
