Hi, sadly it's time for me to part with my MZ20 as I now have the funds to buy an R33 ;)

It's an '89, last year of build and also a face lifted model.

It's bare stock, no mods.

Rundown is basically.

- 7M-GTE ~160 - 170KW @ the rears

- 4 speed Auto

- Electric everything

- Digital dash

- Factory LSD in excellent condition

- 140,000km on the clock.

- Cruise control

- Head gasket replaced and new headstuds retorqued to appropriate level ( factory was not enough - causes trouble on 7Ms)

- Clarion CD player + 6x9's in the back.

- Many hoses replaced, professional cooling system flush done + new top radiator tank

1 of two for sale in South Australia, one of the cheapest for sale in all of OZ!

The exterior is a white pearl and grey two tone. The paint is immaculate.

Interior is tan suede (sp?) + brown leather. Interior immaculate, no burns, stain, nothing!

Car handles beautifully. Turbo is a high flow CT26 which hits 7psi by 3000rpm. Very responsive, surprising in a car this large.

Car still has the factory Soarer matching floor mats and also came factory with the chrome wind guards on the windows.

Dash is digital, which means tacho, speedo, fuel left and engine temp are all on there.

Climate control works, but does need regassing. You have controls for it on the steering wheel. Wheel is factory as I didn't want to lose that.

Rims are R32 GTS-T rims, though you'd all be able to tell that anyway :( bout 30% tread on rear 80% on front.

Owner before me kept the car in a shed and never drove it!

CONS

The only con is that the big end bearings are starting to wear. They cost $110 new, but labor is gonna be fairly expensive, but I think at the given price this is very fair. They've not deteriated to dangerous levels, they're still good for now.

Engine compression is excellent. When I bought the car it was serviced with penrite hpr20. has barely done 4000kms since then!

Car needs to sell in the next to weeks! Price is mildly negotiable, i've had many people calling for this price, but none can come through with the funds!

I have a deposit on a R33 so this car needs to go! ASAP

$5,000.

For the next 2 weeks $4000

In two weeks there will be no more urgency and price will go back to $5000. Get in while you can.

    • @GTSBoy This method was able to get readings of -10 to -2, so it looks like its monitoring.  Now I need to figure out why the vacuum on the line provided isn't alternating with manifold pressure.  I went with 2 lines that an RB25 tuner recommended but I'll get a longer hose and try directly off the back of the manifold.  He may have been used to OEM intake setups while I have a DBW setup that removed the MAF and IACV.
    • I work at a car detailing and tinting shop called Quark which gets all manner of German cars in usually (mainly due to a contract with Mercedes Benz Kita Osaka, BMW Nishinomiya and others) but every once in a while something special comes in, like a fully restored 1972 HS30 Nissan Fairlady 240ZG... The shop owner had immediately started applying film to the windows as soon as it was in the shop so the interior was completely covered in towels and plastic sheets. But I could get a few photos of the engine bay which was restored like new. Such an amazing car to see in pristine condition in Japan these days.
    • Was going to say the car pulls up nicely everywhere, especially going into that last long right hander before the main straight. Looks like a lot of fun.
    • Hey Dave, welcome aboard! Good to see another soon-to-be Stagea owner here. The wagons are awesome — plenty of space, still got that Skyline DNA, and loads of potential if you’re into mods. Definitely post up pics when you get it, everyone here loves seeing new builds. What model/year are you looking at?
