Missing Really Bad Only When Cold

hey guys

my rb26 is missing really bad when cold, when you put your foot down in any gear it starts missing really bad and if you go to take off with revs under 4 it stalls and then wont start with black smoke out the exhuast but after driving for 10 mins its fine but still a really slight miss on idle when hot. i cant figure out what it could be? maybe the igniter module?

im using splitfire coilpacks bcpr7es plugs gaped to .8

nah i havnt will that cause it when its cold? do i use that contact cleaner?

It could be, if you haven't cleaned them (and the connectors etc) then you cannot rule it out.

When i had a bung AFM it was bad cold, but ok warm. So a dirty one i would forsee could do the same

thanks mate cleaned them yesterday started it up this morning it was fine

Not a problem, glad it was as easy as the AFM clean
