ok guys because im to lazy to drive down to the south side,

i was going to start a cruise on the northside,

still collecting donations from the sau members, and users from the northside cruise,

and passing them on to a sau mod.

i was thinking of starting at mango hill at 7.30am

heading up the highway to the ettamogah pub on the sunshine coast to collect anyone

else wanting to join the cruise, from ettamogah, take the sunshine motorway thru coloundra

then out the back to landsbourough up to maleny. from maleny to the back of woodford.

then from woodford back to another meeting point, hang out for a little while.

then head home.

only if there is enough interest, if not anyone wanting to cruise will b on the southside...

so if any1 is interested or has any other ideas, post them up.

^^^nice^^^ :(

i'm trying to organise this for the ppl who either can't or just won't travel that distance.

if u ain't got nothin nice 2 say then don't say nothin

i have a wrx and a 300zx that will most probably attend aswell

as well as an ex show car (lancer)

Sif Id hand over money to you.

then why post in the bloody thread. idiot.

i'm sure 2 make this official an sau exec would have to be there anyway.

where at mango hill were you thinking of starting ?

Sounds like a good option, having a north side cruise as well.

i was thinking near north lakes or somewhere near by, do u have any ideas?

i couldnt make it to the goldy/south one, its just too far for northsiders, its a good to have a north one and all of them to meet up together at the end, at like cleveland showgrounds or sumthin?

yea mate if i can get enough interest in it, i'll plot out a decent trip.

Hi Guys,

I'm sure the folks down in Vic will appreciate your efforts!!

One thing I will say - We are trying to make a big day of this.

- Local media will be covering the cruise,

- JustDave may also be taking care of the photos (not 100% confirmed),

- Club Sponsors and local companies have donated a number of great prizes for raffles,

- Catering is being organised, etc.

yep it's a long way for some (me too, I live on the north side)... From Mango Hill to the cruise should be approx 45min to 1hr at that time of the day. H

I'd really encourage you to join in and make this 1 massive cruise/event, instead of a few smaller ones.

Cheers

i understand that mate, so has an official cruise / meet be arranged, cos at the moment it seems a bit up in the air..

i think it would be alot better if it led to a paticular place where then can be food stalls, show n shine, music, etc. etc..

like the showgrounds, pay ya $5 $10 and then enjoy lookin at others cars and wat not..

there can be people walking around collecting for the charity and wat not..

    • I couldn't agree more. I should have started from the get-go with a NEO or solid bucket conversion. I started looking into converting over to solid lifters yesterday. Now for some reason I was always under the impression that when using the Tomei solid lifter conversion, you would also require new valves (Longer or shorter stems, I can't remember which).  But I see no mention of this on any of the Tomei documentation. It just states I need the Tomei solid buckets, solid lifter cams and upgraded springs. As my head is already built, all I would need is another set of 1000$ Kelford cams, 500$ buckets and about 4H hours of my time installing and I'm off to the races!?!? There's no way it's that simple, I must me missing something?
    • BRUH, one of the biggest mistakes of my life..... and i've had plenty ;[)
    • @Murray_Calavera iam just considering options 🙂 of course it is very expensive so that why i ask here 🙂  @joshuaho96 I looked at that GCG hybrid(i remember looking at it few weeks before) So this is "that" hybrid where i send them my turbo and they upgrade the inside to Garrett stuff and then they send it back. It cost around 1200-1300 USD which is FAR cheaper than the HKS and it is what iam looking for(i just do not have experience like this...to send something off to "upgrade" ) @tylink720 that is like 150 USD turbo no? 😄 I dont think i have the "ease on my mind" with this kind of turbo. I just put over 7000k USD to "LINK" up my engine...dont want to blow it up with cheap turbo 😄     EDIT: https://www.cj-motor.com/gcg-turbo-charger-for-nissan-rb20det-rb25det-high?srsltid=AfmBOooVeOZ6CZ6r1AIv5m-KPaa6BvudIPJTY8LW78khkd-gQlsaCht9 I looked at this and it seems ok? It is that CGC hybrid and it costs around 1250 USD (with back shipping). Do any of you have experience with this hybrid on NEO turbo? I quickly look thru the forum/web and it seems very good.
