Well it had to happen but the BP servo at main road glendale will be transformed in to a Shell/Coles servo so no more Ultimate at that location.

NOT HAPPY JAN

How ever there has been a bp open up next door to the Eagle Boys pizza store further down the road from the old servo.

Yes they do have Ultimate thank goodness.

Just hope it's the same quality

but bp dont got none fuel voucher... if they did... i might go there.. shell does got a fuel voucher.. save a whole $2 mate.. dat buy you 2 pies at darbys .. or 1 pie at da servo your already at... aye bro.

yeah donno about up your way but down here the 4 cent discount is basically useless....

they make it look cheaper by dropping 4 cents, but they increase the basic price by 4 cents compared to mobil and independents anyway, sol it ends up being the same price anyway....

im pretty sure this has been discussed before...

shell and exxon mobil are the suppliers for the majority of the entire country. those two suppliers dont put different additives in their fuel for different end suppliers. its all the same stuff. british petroleum are the only "independant" type suppliers of fuel apart from shell and exxon (hence why ultimate seems to be the choice of skyline drivers). every other servo supplies the same fuel.

im pretty sure this is 100%. if its not - let me know.

    • Yea - I mean I've seen my fuel pump which is decades old and uh, while I'm not saying this with real knowledge... but I sure get the ick at using anything in the fuel system that produced the state of that pump. Many years ago I went through multiple pumps (and strainers) before I dropped the tank to clean it out with extreme violence. I'm talking the car would do maybe 50km before coming to a halt, which resulted in me cleaning out the filter with some brake cleaner and going on my way. None of my stuff ever looked like what came out of your fuel tank. I don't think I'd be happy with it unless every single component was replaced (or at least checked/cleaned/confirmed to be clean here).
    • I'm not going to recommend an EBC pad. I don't like them. Just about anything else would suit me better. I've been using Intima pads for a while now.
    • Agreed, and in particular the earth strap that should go from the subframe to the chassis but it often broken or left off. There is a section in the R32 workshop manual you can follow for troubleshooting if you don't see anything suspicious, and depending where you are (there is no location on your user profile) you should be able to get your hands on a second hand replacement unit still if needed
