I've seen a few ECUs on Yahoo japan (import monster). might be worth a try if you can't find one locally. also New Zealand ( wreckers would be good for small things (Stagea parts are easier to get over there) and you win on the exchange rate.

wow, it must me hard to find S2 wreck if you are trying up here in QLD.

*in bold* did you mean All Automotive Import Parts, ph: 0737156474 located in Seventeen Mile Rock (brisbane). they have always had what i' been chasing.

He did make the time to ring back with part number. My wagon is an 8/98 with a part number of 23740 0V810. A bloke I work with has an 11/99 with part number of 23740 0V811. Same car specs. Turbo, auto, awd. I have the rest of details but my local nissan said that the above was all that they needed to supply me a new one.

a quick look on fast tells me that those two part numbers seem to be the only two ecu's that can be use for an S2 auto RS Four V turbo. mine has the 23740 0v811 and i have a 08/99 auto RS4V turbo.

so your getting a new one from nissan? i hope your sitting down when they tell you the price, i dont think it will be cheap

EDIT to my last post. AAIP didn't make the time to ring through part no. I don't want to have buy one from nissan. It has allready taken my local nissan a week to not reply to my enquiry. Would be nice to find out difference in computers and if a 99' comp. will run my 98'.

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
