Can i have one for my shed???

What a waste of money...

Hahaha, I knew you'd say that :P

When people see a "hoon's" car on a flat bed truck they automatically assume the driver was doing something stupid and either broke something or got hoonlawed anyway. Completely useless.

I'd expect it would give the older generation some satisfaction to see that hoons are being caught and shamed for their actions.

Not totally useless.

Yeah well this could go bad in so many ways. If your being punished for a "Hoon Act" but your not guilty, why should they slap stickers all over your car saying your a hoon before you go too court? You always get cops saying "I can yellow u for that" when they have no idea what there looking at. (Not all cops)

Whats next? "I can Hoon sticker you for that"? I see no real long/short term benefit. Only more frustration.

^^ yep person i know is due soon, also parantly u lose ur licence first offence now also

what was his car actually impounded for?

racing?

I havent heard about a loss of license for first offence under the anti hoon legislation.

I thought, for the first offence, the police officer who has sufficent evidence of the suspect committing a hoon offence, has the power to impound the vehicle for 48 hours without a court order.

On the second or subsequent offence, the court may then impound the vehicle for 3 months.

I'm placing some orders for those stickers now & gonna stick it on the Camry :P

At least they put the hoon sticker on a commodore, which is what I see the majority of the population hoons around in. compared to all the other cars...

No I have never been hoon lawed myself :P *crosses fingers*

Well that’s good too hear. I just don’t want too hear stories going around that last night I got pulled over and I got threatened too be Hoon stickered. How pathetic would that be?

There is no need for a Judge, it seems there turning cops into them.

I guess it’s a cheap way too cut back government time and money.

I'd imagine it would be no different to a cop threatening to yellow sticker a driver.

    • What Duncan said sounds right. Also, it looks like they only have the driver's mat. Not the rest. Because looking at the diagram: KG4911 is just the mat for the driver. KG4900 is the full set if I'm not mistaken and discontinued.   But, it looks like they may still have the full set for the manual S2. Might be worth checking for the other models as well as they seem slightly different. https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/epc/nissan-japan/stagea/wgnc34/6649-rb25det/misc/G49 Man, I'm tempted.
    • I dunno about that as a blanket statement. Pitwork is Nissan's "Nissan genuine" thing, and for stuff like timing belts, I have found them to be excellent. Of course, for things like oil filters, you always use proper trusted brands anyway, not whatever the OEM has taken to using.
    • Ahhhh... If you were putting 12V to the led in there, that's likely made it very unhappy. Chances are how you put power, was 12V across an LED that's meant to only have about 20mA through it at peak, and a forward voltage of about 1.8 to 2.4 volts. That circuit is likely only a 3V3 circuit, and will have a resistor in series with the led too. That's my guesstimate on that light, without having touched one.
    • Another vote for installing them and see how you go.  I mean, you already own them, why would you not fit them?
    • I have had too many of those over the years, my cars have a toolkit or at minimum a cheapy multi tool thing because its too easy to be snookered by some stupid plastic clip that stops you checking the battery terminal isn't loose.
