I cant read that shit. Does it tell you your 0-100 timing as well? Whats all those numbers anyway.

no 0-100 timing

R/T = Reaction time (time from green light till car starts moving)

60' = 60 foot time

330 = 330 foot time

1/8 = 1/8 mile time

MPH = MPH at 1/8 mile

K/mh = Km/h at 1/8 mile

1000 = 1000 foot time

1/4 = Quarter mile time, aka 400m time, elapsed time (ET)

MPH = MPH at 1/4 mile

K/mh = Km/h at 1/4 mile

No idea what the "Right 1st .2223" is

Both Lanes STAGED @ Starter GO means nobody false started

Martin what were you racing that had a better 0-60 time than you?

A worked aus spec 31 on drag radials

Your car seems like it'd hammer 0-60 with the Bee*R launcher :) when I was in it the other day it seemed like boost come on around the same time as mine, and if I launch mine at 3.5K it flies. It even eats gabnrs for dinner launching on 3.5k :(

One of the (many) problems wiht HR31 IRS. It is f*cking impossible to get the beasts moving. mutherf*cker just squats down, cambers up, and then ur left with an inch of tyre on the road and it wheelspins.

To be fair a lot of it is probably my (lack of) drag racing skills, but almost all HR31 drivers get the same problem at drags.

And the launch control was playing up, i didn't use it.

Electrics seem to be ok for now.

The gabnr told me that my brake lights look JDM spec - I can live with that

LOL! Never trust a gabnr

Everything else is working fine too. No more gremlins yet :)

win!

Unless he hears "sway bar" and thinks "spoiler" like his other two mixups this week lol. I think Brandon is getting drunk on that bubble tea

BAHAHAHAHAHA

He has an n1 though so the fkr doesn't need anything, except lowering (unfair call?)

Nope. Totally fair call :)

if you are looking to upgrade your sway bars - let me say that i sat shot gun 5 laps at qr in a 33 drifting with sways (kev's beast  ) and then 5 laps in a 33 drifting without sways - and the difference was amazing

was a real eye opener for me

i dont know if drifting is your thing or not - but the handling was like 849234x more lolz

Swaybars also important for grip driving. Body roll is really not a good thing for any form of motorsport. Pansy driving (aka drag racing) is probably about the only one where it doesn't make much difference

lol as good as it can,

im awaiting a new sr - so its just sitting in my garage

then that gets fitted, then turbo gets refitted, some other thingys and a tune :)

Awesome :) whats the ETA?

plus side is now i have funds so im sweet to drop some cash like a player and leave it with the guys to fix everything and get her running perfect :)

then skiiiiiiidz

Shotgun!

lol

97SFO

is available at PPQ

DO IT!

fcuking do it man! hahahah

+1

lol not gonna get it. just funny that it's available

That right there, is the definition of F*CKING WEAKSAUCE

Pretty sure that's all the pommies are good at....whinging and moaning. They do a damn good job of it though

+1

P.S. What is up with this STUPID F*CKING FORUM with its limits on PMs, number of quotes, number of emoticons, number of posts per f*cking minute, number of searches per f*cking minute, and every other f*cking retarded nazi rule they have. F*CKING communists. I'm f*cking off back to www.r31lowballclub.com, where freedom and liberty still abound

/rant :(

Not sure if GTR sway bars will fit onto a GTST I'm fairly sure the set ups are different. I know on the 32s the GTR sway bars are different to the GTST.

CBF quoting 3 pages of shit so I will just say I agree with 90% of posts.

14.4 is a lot better than 16+ my apologies :)

And f**k you carnts I'll whinge as much as I want!

Yer, they wouldn't make a different part number if they were the same

Apology will be accepted if miss tigs will come to the QR christmas party with me?

And f**k you carnts I'll whinge as much as I want!

Of course you can, ur a whinging pom

Dont know about the swaybar. Maybe check with Dan.

I still dont understand why they have them in miles when most of the world have f**king kph on our speedo.

Yea I need the low...

Colin: what tyre pressure are you running? I'm on 40psi all round and I think thats gonna be too high if I'm going to toowoomba. Thinking of lowering it down to 36 or 38.

lol Martin you will have to ask her yourself.

PH Number?

Drag racers love miles. But yeah, they have both anyway. Whats the problem?

Maybe drag is more popular amongst the yanks. Nah nothing wrong with it. Just that I would prefer to see kph than mile. Same thing with kw and hp, I prefer kw over hp.

as I said, it has BOTH. Under each mph reading is the kph reading. But its labelled k/mh for some reason (kilos per meter hour? :))

EDIT: I guess its just more proof that drag racers are mentally challenged

cmon guys, its friday and the countdown to the weekend is at T-minus 6 hours. Keep me entertained!

Isn't that what the internets are for ?

I'm sure there's thousands of pron's out there :)

i am t minus 7 hours! Gah unlucky

In other news, last night Annas car provided me with much lulz, I was driving through south bank and got stopped at a set of lights, two girls in thier late teens decided to run across the road, the light went green i drove off expecting them to stop on the island in the middle when they saw that the light was now green and traffic was heading thier way....NO instead they decided to keep going causing me to have to slow down to let them through....as payback i timed my run perfectly so that i would hit the limiter in first just as i drew level with them, being an ignition cut limiter it made all sorts of noise and flamage, one girl attempted to keep running and look to see WTF was making all that noise, she tripped as a result of trying to look and run and face planted on the foot path....Lucifer 1 Teens 0

    • @Haggerty you still haven't answered my question.  Many things you are saying do not make sense for someone who can tune, yet I would not expect someone who cannot tune to be playing with the things in the ECU that you are.  This process would be a lot quicker to figure out if we can remove user error from the equation.
    • If as it's stalling, the fuel pressure rises, it's saying there's less vacuum in the intake manifold. This is pretty typical of an engine that is slowing down.   While typically is agree it sounds fuel related, it really sounds fuel/air mixture related. Since the whole system has been refurbished, including injectors, pump, etc, it's likely we've altered how well the system is delivering fuel. If someone before you has messed with the IACV because it needed fiddling with as the fuel system was dieing out, we need to readjust it back. Getting things back to factory spec everywhere, is what's going to help the entire system. So if it idles at 400rpm with no IACV, that needs raising. Getting factory air flow back to normal will help us get everything back in spec, and likely help chase down any other issues. Back on IACV, if the base idle (no IACV plugged in) is too far out, it's a lot harder for the ECU to control idle. The IACV duty cycle causes non linear variations in reality. When I've tuned the idle valves in the past, you need to keep it in a relatively narrow window on aftermarket ecus to stop them doing wild dances. It also means if your base idle is too low, the valve needs to open too much, and then the smallest % change ends up being a huge variation.
    • I guess one thing that might be wrong is the manifold pressure.  It is a constant -5.9 and never moves even under 100% throttle and load.  I would expect it to atleast go to 0 correct?  It's doing this with the OEM MAP as well as the ECU vacuum sensor. When trying to tune the base map under load the crosshairs only climb vertically with RPM, but always in the -5.9 column.
    • AHHHH gotchaa, I'll do that once I am home again. I tried doing the harness with the multimeter but it seems the car needed a jump, there was no power when it was in the "ON" position. Not sure if I should use car battery jump starter or if its because the stuff that has been disconnect the car just does send power.
    • As far as I can tell I have everything properly set in the Haltech software for engine size, injector data, all sensors seem to be reporting proper numbers.  If I change any injector details it doesnt run right.    Changing the base map is having the biggest change in response, im not sure how people are saying it doesnt really matter.  I'm guessing under normal conditions the ECU is able to self adjust and keep everything smooth.   Right now my best performance is happening by lowering the base map just enough to where the ECU us doing short term cut of about 45% to reach the target Lambda of 14.7.  That way when I start putting load on it still has high enough fuel map to not be so lean.  After 2500 rpm I raised the base map to what would be really rich at no load, but still helps with the lean spots on load.  I figure I don't have much reason to be above 2500rpm with no load.  When watching other videos it seems their target is reached much faster than mine.  Mine takes forever to adjust and reach the target. My next few days will be spent making sure timing is good, it was running fine before doing the ECU and DBW swap, but want to verify.  I'll also probably swap in the new injectors I bought as well as a walbro 255 pump.
